Konstantin Kim 2009-03-18	Muang Kulaypan Hotel, Chaweng Beach We stayed in the hotel with infant 1,5 years old in superiours rooms. Bad things: - hotel is not convinent for young active baby, because stairs very croud and do not secure for small babies - air con system is too noisy and very strong even in lowest mode - no buffet breakfast (menu breakfast only) Good things: - very friendly staff - very good swim pool - hotel gave us possibility to stayed in two interconnected rooms what was very convienent for big families with babies - really boutique hotel I would reccomend it for honeymoon or for couple without small babies.	Very good.
Ahmet Tumay Dovan 2008-06-29 until 2008-07-04	Muang Kulaypan Hotel, Chaweng Beach The hotel was quite all right and since there was availability they upgraded our room since we were there for honeymoon. It was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.The only thing that we were not satisfied was the breakfast. For a four star hotel there should be a buffet breakfast but there wasn t. They serve breakfast to the tables and it was really insufficient for us so we had to add something to our own breakfast everyday. The location was good and we enjoyed our stay.We had a very early check in and we had a late flight at 18 pm and they also provided us the room till 5 pm and it was free and a late check out.	It was very good and smooth.Better than I expected.

SUWAT PUNNACHAIYA 2008-04-16 until 2008-04-19	Muang Kulaypan Hotel, Chaweng Beach KOH SAMUI!! I would say, this is my second returning to Kulaypan. I had been there 9 years ago, The Hotel still keep a very good services, quite, clean and white sand!. However, the sea is not good for swim on this season, there was not clean and clear water. All of Hotel staffs is nice and willing to serve. I would like to recommended anyone who want to stay at the quite but in style, Also, you can walk from hotel along Chawaeng street for all entertain/food/shopping as door steps.	I did all arrangement on-line included air ticket (from airline web service), A reservation on line is quite easy and effective, systematic. You never worry anything.!
Angus Bradley 2006-02-10 until 2006-02-16	Muang Kulaypan Hotel, Chaweng Beach I was attracted by the 100m of beach front and the picture of the pool. I had stayed next door at the Amari two years ago so I was familiar with this stretch of beach. The hotel itself was OK. Actually I must admit to walking around doing renovations in my head. I admit that my first change would be to knock the place down and build a resort with more rooms and less grounds. But enough about that. I found the place a little used up. Then again given what s available in the price range on Koh Samui it s about equal with the market. I love the pool. It really is the highlight of the place. The beach is also great but I admit to being put off by the run-off into the ocean along the beach and wouldn t swim there. I like the location wrt the merchants and restaurants of chewang. At most it will take you 10 minutes to find someplace to eat or spend all those Baht. My room was one of the basic room and it was fine. I didn t book the Ritz so there was no disappointments. The staff was great. I felt like each one of them actually cared about me and how my stay was. The best part of Thailand is the people and the staff was as good as I ve experienced. I travel alone but if you have kids, Muang Kulaypan should be your choice just for the love and care the staff give them. A solid 3-4/5 at a discount price.
Sara Bernstein Rudnick 2006-01-05 until 2006-01-09	Muang Kulaypan Hotel, Chaweng Beach What an utter disappointment. It looked so pretty on the website. We did not have the promised ocean view that we paid extra for. The shower didn t work, there a limited chairs near the pool. The manager is not nice, and the other guests seemed miserable. Thanks to a group of guys also staying at the Muang Kulaypan, we bailed out after the first day and headed over to the Baan Haad Ngam and had an excelllent time.	Sawadee.com s reservation was just fine, no problems on pick-up at the airport and the payments was registered, I just wish there was some way to get some kind of refund.
Karen Playfair 2006-01-03 until 2006-01-06	Muang Kulaypan Hotel, Chaweng Beach The Muang Kulaypan is a real oasis of calm within Chaweng Beach area. The rooms are contemporary and very comfortable, the staff are very helpful and attentive. The only down side is Chaweng Beach area itself - the Blackpool of Thailand, very touristy.	The booking service was good - all went very smoothly.
