Baan Taling Ngam Resort & Spa, Taling Ngam Beach Absolutely fantastic! You are personally greeted by Johann, the resort manager, who is a tremendous resourse for both on and off site activities. All resort staff are friendly and helpful. The resort itself is beautiful, exceptionally maintained and landscaped. The restaurants had wonderful food, presentation and atmosphere. The setting is magnificent and unforgettable. The photos on the web site do not adequately reflect the beauty of the resort. The resort is on the western side of the island away from the city and nightlife . Not an issue for us, in fact, definitely a plus. Several different types of guests were present; couples, honeymooners, families, all easily accommodated. Beware of timing with respect to the rainy season. Our stay was at the very end of the rainy season and we had sunshowers once for 15 minutes. My only complaint would be that we did not stay long enough and that it is too great a distance for us to return easily. Sa we dee krap. |
Had initial difficulty being able to use a credit card, kept getting referred to a phone/fax number. When final payment was due, would have appreciated a reminder via email, with easy access to credit card payment. |

Baan Taling Ngam Resort & Spa, Taling Ngam Beach A secluded resort on the cliff with good security and friendly staff. Johan Wallen, the Guest Relations Manager made sure the guests are well cared for. The restaurant wait staffs are eager to help with their smiling faces, especially Ros and Aor. Their spa, however, has my wife and I short-changed. We signed up for a 6 hour pampering spa package, but we were out of there in 5 hours and the treatments were not impressive. |
Efficient. |

Baan Taling Ngam Resort & Spa, Taling Ngam Beach Ravishingly beautiful hillside location in a quiet part of Samui that has not yet been taken over by dusty commercial strips - views from rooms and public areas overlooking stunning sea and islands - attractive beach is smaller and more private than the big Samui beaches such as Lamai - flowers and orchids abound on the property - lovely room decorated in Thai style with wood shutters, artwork, attractive bathroom - wonderful food. Above all, warm Thai people and international management team were all so welcoming. We came here after a stay at the Oriental Hotel in Bangkok and were just as impressed by the Baan Taling Ngam - we would gladly return anytime. This hotel would not be suitable to physically handicapped guests who have trouble walking up and down the stairs - nor would it be suitable for someone looking for rowdy pick-up bar type atmosphere. |
Very smooth experience - no troubles encountered. |

Baan Taling Ngam Resort & Spa, Taling Ngam Beach I had a lovely, quiet stay. The location is very nice and perfect for couples and people wanting some privacy. However if you d like some night life & shopping, this isn t the place for you, though the hotel does provide transport. The rooms were clean, quite spacious and my room overlooked the sea so there was a cool breeze all night long. However, the hotel does need a bit of renovation, especially the terraces outside the room & should switch over to Flat screen/plasma TV. The Mediterranean restaurant near the beach was also nice but should have more light & a better menu. All in all, I was very happy in the resort & will be going there soon. |
Good service, very prompt & good rates too. will book through them again. |

Baan Taling Ngam Resort & Spa, Taling Ngam Beach We had a truly fabulous stay at this resort! Our villa was beautiful, the beaches and scenery were gorgeous and the service (with a few exceptions of wait staff who did not speak great english), was excellent. We would definitely return! |

Baan Taling Ngam Resort & Spa, Taling Ngam Beach A spectacular hotel in a remote location. Perfect for relaxing by the pool. Great food and cocktails! |
Very easy. The e-voucher system worked fine. |

Baan Taling Ngam Resort & Spa, Taling Ngam Beach the resort is perfect. Beautiful, secluded, clean, with many pools. The staff is very efficient, helpful and kind. Breakfast is good. Restaurants are good, but overpriced. Only problem is the very small beach, with shallow water. It is almost impossible to swim in the open water.....may be that s the reason why they have 6 or 7 pools. |
perfect as usual |

Baan Taling Ngam Resort & Spa, Taling Ngam Beach The Baan Taling Ngam Resort is our most favorit hotel worldwide even if there could be done a litte restauration in some repects (the terasses of the seaview rooms are at least 10 years old and out of fashion)The service is verry good but the young Thai people should learn much more English which already starts right now by an English lady teaching them. We did a monks blessing as we married at the former Le Meridien 8 years ago and it was as impressing and wonderful as we remembered our wedding. The daily lunch menue suggetion at the beach restaurant ist excellent and has a very reasonable price. The weather in March was fabulous we did not have any rain during daytime. We are looking forward to come again a.s.a.p. as it was a holiday with only happyness and good memories thanks to the managing crew of Baan Taling Ngam |

Baan Taling Ngam Resort & Spa, Taling Ngam Beach Very peaceful and relaxing but food is a bit expensive. Also advise to hire a car for getting around. |
Very good. |

Le Royal Meridien Baan Taling Ngam, Taling Ngam Beach If you really want to have a wonderful and luxury holiday - this is the hotel for you. It was even nicer than we had expected. Wonderful and stylish rooms, balconys with a lot of privacy, perfect service, great food in foru different restaurants and the set-up in the landscape is just great. Nothing for somebody who wants to have big party-life, but great if you want to relax in a real nice environment. Nothing negative to say about the hotel at all - also the Spa is definetely worth the money! |
Worked without any problems - we got exactly the room we wanted - at it was even nicer than we had hoped! |
