Downgraded but compensated with meal & spa vouchers. Handly location, simple clean rooms. Small pool area, nice lobby and helpful staff.	Excellent.

Lisa McBean 2008-09-16	Horizon Patong Beach Resort & Spa, Patong Beach The hotel itself is nice enough. We had a spacious room overlooking the pool, of which there are two. As it was near the rear of the hotel, it was very quiet. The hotel location is very good as it is right in the centre of Patong and only a 2 minute walk to the beach. We actually upgraded our room on arrival as the cheaper rooms are near the pool on the ground floor which is Ok for some but can get noisy, although access to the pools shuts at about 8pm anyway. The only negative I found is that Patong Horizon seems to be on travel agents books in Australia. My son booked a package with 7 nights in Phuket and was given the Horizon as his hotel. Hence we booked through sawadee to stay with him. However, the majority of the people staying there seemed to be middle aged/elderly Australians. It felt like we were on the Gold Coast and there wasn t a variety of people from different countries that we had encountered on the rest of our travels. If you don t mind taking to Aussies, the hotel is very good.	Booking the hotel was very easy.

DEE LEOW 2008-09-10	Horizon Patong Beach Resort & Spa, Patong Beach Me and my partner were there for 5 days.From the time of check-in,we were greeted and all staff were friendly and helpful till our check-out.We had Fon(front recept) who went an extra mile for me.Abdul(Bell svc) who even remembered our names.Stayed in a family room.Spacious for a couple,Perfect for families.Beach was just outside.Shpg was right beside,convenient to everywhere.Gd breakfast buffet.Baluchi Restn has good ambience and serves excellent food menu. Rohan Bruce Campbell 2008-08-28	Horizon Patong Beach Resort & Spa, Patong Beach Great Hotel for familys or for retired couple not 2 single men, as adding a local guest to our reservation was expensive and proved to be quite difficult but I understand this, as the hotel is directed at that market. I would have appreciated knowing this before confirming my booking as it cost almost half of my entire hotel budget to have my guest stay for just 2 of my 8 nights and the they did not get breakfast or use of amenities. Other than this I was happy with price, service and location and when I travel with my family I would stay here again	Great booking sevice and will use again as simple and efficient
