Baramie Residence, Jomtien Sattahip Beach Excellent hotel. Very clean, great wireless internet, clean pool, and amazing staff. Even when it was busy, it has a very calm feel to it, and the staff is a huge part of it. Manager came around and even had taken the time to remember our names - bit of extra effort that shows they are on top of it. |
Very easy, we use them many times each year. |

Baramie Residence, Jomtien Sattahip Beach Very lovely and relaxing spot. The grounds and unit were well maintained and we found the beach quite nice. Great comfy beach loungers on the beach and the beach was not crowded at all. Just down the walkway we found a wonderful spot for a massage that was heavenly! The staff was very helful and our unit was clean. The only downside we had was the sewer smell could be quite strong. Also the a/c only works if you are in your room. We had a room that got direct sun, so after a day at the beach the room was very hot and stuffy. The a/c worked well though and cooled things off quickly. Get the hotel to send you a map and directions prior to your trip! Luckily we had their phone number with us in addition to the address as the taxi driver did not know where it was. All and all, a nice place to stay. |
Very easy. Would certainly book through this site again. |

Baramie Residence, Jomtien Sattahip Beach A very nice and quiet bungalow/hotel area with a beautiful garden and a good but rather small swimming pool. Especially suitable for couples or families with small children. The bungalow was very clean with no small animals inside or outside the room. The breakfast was ok. The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. With some more skills in English, the service would have been perfect. A cheap bus connection to Pattaya City from the nearby Pinnacle Resort hotel ten times a day. A beauty salon and barber in that same hotel. No night life in the area, which of course is one of the elements of a quiet hotel. The beach was near, but there was some junk ashore. That s why we didn t swim in the sea, even if the water itself seemed quite clean. Special thanks to the personnel and management for excellent and personal service. |
Good and quick service without problems. |

Baramie Residence, Jomtien Sattahip Beach This is a great place to come if you want to get away from it all and relax. This small hotel was only opened last year and is in a pristine state. The German owner has worked in the hotel business for over twenty years and has brought all his experience to bear on making this a comfortable, welcoming place. The staff spoke excellent English, were very attentive and went out of their way to accommodate all requests. The concierge, Bancha, deserves a particular mention for his helpful and friendly manner. We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms – good size, fridge and coffee making equipment, lots of storage room, safe, sofa-daybed, comfortable beds, TV and DVD player, large balcony with sun bed and table/chairs. The room was spotless and serviced very well every day. We didn’t go into the more expensive bungalows but they looked very nice from the outside. A photo, showed a small kitchenette and slightly bigger rooms. All the rooms are set within a small garden area which helps aid the relaxing process. The hotel pool has a shaded area and plenty of sun beds/umbrellas. The staff will bring drinks and food to the pool area and it seemed to be open for use most of the time. The beach is about a 1-minute walk from the deluxe rooms and 15 seconds from the bungalows. There are sun beds set out for the guests and plenty of shade when it gets too hot. As we were visiting in the off-season, we can only comment that the beach was very quiet and peaceful. There are other hotels either side of the Baramie which offer massage, water sports and a shuttle service to town. There were lots of thoughtful touches which made our stay just a little more pleasant. Extra towels are provided in the room for use at the pool, DVDs are available free if you want to blob out in front of the TV, a couple of wireless laptops were available for free internet use, an extensive library of books was available etc. The food on offer was excellent! Breakfast was included within the cost of the room and we will be amazed if we haven’t gained a couple of Kgs. As well as the traditional cereal and toast a range of cold meats, cheese, fruit and yogurts were available. You could also request a cooked meal which included noodles, American breakfast, omelettes etc. Another nice touch were the breakfast hours, you could still get breakfast at 10.30, so could have a lie in. The evening meals were great too. If you get a chance, try the crêpes in orange sauce. The only potential downside for some people will be the location. The hotel is at Na-Jomtien which is at the bottom end of Jomtien beach and separated from it by a river. If you want to go into Jomtien or Pattaya, you will have to get a taxi which will cost between 200 and 400 Baht. The hotel staff would book a taxi for you and were happy to organise trips/ find out information. Our personal experience was that we were so happy with the hotel, the extra distance and expense was worth it. As a small side point – The crocodile farm was worth seeing but it may not be very PC for some animal lovers. The animals were all well fed and cared for, but were more performance orientated than within a zoo. You can get photos taken with tigers, bears and elephants there. You can also go crocodile fishing – hanging a chicken carcass on a bamboo fishing pole for the crocodiles to eat. Cost $200 to go in and $400 each way for a taxi. We also went range shooting. Tiffanies lady-boy theatre has a shooting range underneath it (bit of a bizarre combo) where you can hire a handgun, instructor and blast away. It can get a bit pricy was pretty cool. We would give the Baramie residence a 9/10 and recommend it for a peaceful relaxing stay. If you want to be in the thick of things in Pattaya itself, it’s not for you. |
Good. We initially made contact by phone and had a very helpful sales person, who made some enquiries for us and emailed us immediately with the information. All the automated booking emails were clear and the voucher came through quickly. |
