Derek Moore 2006-05-29 until 2006-05-31	Krabi Heritage Hotel, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay Perfectly adequate for an inexpensive short break. Handily placed and within easy walking distance of the main beachfront area of Ao Nang. Some noise late at night from a small complex of nearby bars, but the aircon more or less drowns this out. I stayed in the low season so the hotel was almost empty but I would be wary of staying at this hotel in the high season because all bedrooms seem to have connecting doors and this would inevitably result in noise transmission room to room. Regular visitors to Thailand will know that a variety of noises emanate from the bedrooms of the cheaper hotels in the areas that cater for tourists - Ao Nang would be no exception as there is a small but functioning bar scene with attendant friends available for hire!	It worked, no problem
