Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort, Phi Phi Island, Loh Ba Gao Bay The outward appearance of this resort is truely lovely, but don t be swayed by that. The staff are very inhospitable! The service is uncaring they are only interested in the tourist dollar! The prices are inflated and you pay for absolutely everything. The price to get from there to Phuket is so expensive on their private speed boat and they only have one service daily so if you have two nights there and arrive in the afternoon you have to be on the ferry at 10.30 the morning you leave boat and back to Phuket on their 10.30am ferry leaving you with one full day but paying for 2 full nights!!!! Due to the disappointment of only having on day there and we went there for my birthday my husband asked for an upgrade, they didn t want to know us and told us they were booked out. That was totally untrue as there were several empty bungalows along the beach front for both nights we were there he even told them that it was my birthday, they didn t care less. They told us that for extra money we could get a private boat back to Phuket at a later time, for the unbelievalble cost of $600 AUS for 2 adults and 2 children??? We ended up getting the ferry back for a quarter of the price they charged. We asked for a late check out after all this and they harrassed us with 2 phone calls to our room to see when we would vacate the room. Nice resort but would never go back the staff are cold and unfriendly. |
Good service and I would use them again. No problems. |

Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort, Phi Phi Island, Loh Ba Gao Bay this resort is below expectations, its a pretty expensive resort and than I expect some extra service like room service, that was a big problem for them, all other resort have room service but not them. The bungalows are far away from restaurants and beach, so if you want to have everything near dont book this hotel. |
I booked 5 resorts with phuketportalen and no problems at all...very good |

Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort, Phi Phi Island, Loh Ba Gao Bay If you have children in pushchairs, or have a disability or are elderly, think twice before booking here. There are steps everywhere, which makes access to just about everything difficult, and you ll also need to manouever in and out of both a ferry and a longtail boat just to get there. We were unaware that TWO boat journeys are required, and it was a nightmare journey with our two small babies - hence my poor rating for location. The journey from/to Bangkok took us nine hours, which is pretty extreme for a local destination. What aggravated the experience further was that there was nobody from the resort to meet us at the Phi Phi ferry terminal as promised. There was a guy with a resort sign, but his role remains unclear as he kept sending me off on wild goose chases and it later turned out that he doesn t work for the resort. The two guys who do work for the resort were nowhere to be found, and were rude when we finally found them. I had two babies, an elderly lady and my wife sitting waiting for me throughout, so I was very unimpressed indeed. In all the confusion, and whilst trying to manoeuver two prams plus all our luggage down the narrow, crowded jetty to the longtail boat, we also lost our mobile phone, which was a big nuisance. Otherwise the location is very pretty, but that goes for just about everywhere on any Thai island beach so that s no particular reason to choose this resort. Also be aware that the food is extremely expensive and not very good. There are some far better places to eat in the village at the back of the resort (we particularly recommend the Monkey Bar |
Please make it more clear that there are two boat journeys involved, and that clients must make their own way from the airport to the ferry. We would not have booked on Phi Phi with two small babies if we had been aware of how difficult the journey would be. |

Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort & Sp, Phi Phi Island, Loh Ba Gao Bay Wonderful!! Just go there, as simple as that. We spent our honneymoon there and it was the best location we could think of. One thing that has to be mentioned: They let you believe that the resort is kind of isolated and therefore, use their restaurants only (which are quite expensive but fine). The staff don t mention that there is a small village (phi phi village) just 5 minutes walking outside the resort, in which you can find small shops and even a very good restaurant called leemah. |
Great as always. |
