The facilities are fine and the restaurant and entertainment were good. The staff were very helpful and friendly.	Very efficient and helpful as always.

Bernhard Duve 2005-10-15 until 2005-10-19	Patong Lodge, Patong Beach Old hotel, needs refurbishment. Rooms quite simple, but clean. Quite far away from beach and shopping - taxi required. Selection and quality of breakfast poor. Staff lazy and uninterested. Overall a 2* budget hotel at a fair price.	Simply perfect.
Barry Hackett 2005-10-12 until 2005-10-21	Patong Lodge, Patong Beach This was our second visit to Patong Lodge Hotel and as was the first time, the service and standard of room was excellent. It was nice to be remembered from our previous visit and greeted as an old friend by the staff. This will definately be our choice of hotel on our next visit to Phuket.	As usual Sawadee was eficient and easy to use. It makes organising a holiday very easy.
Axel Liebetruth 2005-08-04 until 2005-08-08	Patong Lodge, Patong Beach Aged hotel, did see better times. Rooms clean but need some maintenance. Breakfast poorly, only toast, butter, jam, eggs, plus some Thai basic food. Weak point of hotel is the staff: (a)when check in at midnight, security guard sleeping deep in their front street box. (b) at receiption nobody visible, but after some waiting found a bed in backroom with sleeping receiptionist which could be waked up, but very unfriendly check-in procedure, (c) room maid didn´t seem to locate my room, as at two days at evening return room has not been serviced, response at receiption was uninterested - seems to be a standard procedure. Overall value for money ok, if you compare the low price.	Professional Service, but confirmation and payment system with various eMails quite complicated, if you compare with other online service providers, f.e. airlines.
Lim Kian Peng 2004-12-17 until 2004-12-19	Patong Lodge, Patong Beach Hotel location is quite a distance from the main attraction of Patong. We have to take a tuk tuk to Patong and cost 100B for 2 pax. Room is clean and pool is good.	Effiency and fast.
Glenda Powell 2004-12-04 until 2004-12-17	Patong Lodge, Patong Beach We will definitely stay at the Patong Lodge again. The staff were very helpfull and friendly and the service was good. The rooms are very spacious & clean, as was all other areas of the hotel,and the pool area is also nice. We didn t like the breakfasts but the food in the evening was good.Although the hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Patong the tuk-tuks are only 100bhat, and to be honest,we found the peacefullness of the hotel very relaxing after the noisy (but greatly enjoyable)street life in Patong.	Very efficient and easy with plenty of hotels to choose from, will use again.
TAN SWEE LENG 2004-11-20 until 2004-11-23	Patong Lodge, Patong Beach Stayed from 20 Nov 04 to 23 Nov 04 - start of the peak tourish season. Chalet type accomodation,room neat and clean. Room was still not ready when we checked in at about 2 pm. Waited about 10 minutes for the staff to do up the extra bed. The balcony floor has a big round hold where a coconut tree passes through to the roof - thought this was not safe especially for kids as there is a big gap between the concrete and the trunk of the tree. Staff helpful but short of being friendly. Mainly caucasian guest and noticed quite a number are German. Don t be deceived by the picture of the swimming pool, it is actually quite a small pool, but nice and quiet though. Besides the resturant, the swimming pool seems to be the only other place to be. We did not notice any other retail or commercial outlet. Heavy traffic on the road outside the hotel and has no sidewalk. Padestrian risk being knocked down as one walk towards Patong Beach (about 5 minutes). A stonethrow away from Baan Rim Pa resturant though. We booked through the Internet and included a payment of 70 Baht for breakfast for child without bed. On the check-in voucher was stated Breakfast for child without bed , however, this was interpreted by the counter staff as no breakfast for child without bed. Took some convincing and phone call to booking agent before they finally agreed. Breakfast was buffet style and the same dishes for the 3 morning we were there. Limited variety of food - toast, fried rice, fried noodle, ham, porridge, ommelete and fruit. Would not stay there again for the price we paid.	Book online was smooth and without any problem
