Irina-Jovana 2009-08-05	New Lapaz Villa, Maenam Beach Beautiful setting... on the best beach in Samui. We had the bungalow right on the beach. The food in the resort was delicious and the staff very friendly. Definetly would recommend. Basic & simple for a relaxing holiday.	Easy and convenient
Gast 2009-04-16	New Lapaz Villa, Maenam Beach We had booked Deluxe Seaview Bungalow. The Bungalow was seaview, but not deluxe for this price. The first Bungalow was not clean. In the second we had problems with the shower. After two times asking for check the drain, they was nerved. Staff was friendly, but not the principals. Notice the rental times from motorbike a.s.o. for yourself, do not depent on the hotel. Breakfast was unbalanced.	No problems.
Brian Jarman 2009-04-16	New Lapaz Villa, Maenam Beach lovely location. bungalow i stayed in was nice. but no hot shower. sheets and towels smelt funny so buy your own at a shop in maenam. and there is a mad swiss woman who stays there long term. she is nuts!!!!! and slightly annoying.
Dawn Cheeseman 2009-02-27	New Lapaz Villa, Maenam Beach I would not recommend new ;apaz for several reasons:- Overpriced, shabby, not the best part of the beach,poor breakfast, awful woman who rents a house there 3 months of the year bosses staff and guests around with what they can and can t do.	Pre booked a taxi pick up from airport to hotel, it never turned up.

Roger Harvey 2008-06-17 until 2008-06-19	New Lapaz Villa, Maenam Beach My wife & I stayed at the New Lapaz Villa for 3 nights en route to our daughters wedding. The bungalow we stayed in was clean & very high quality. The food was very good, (the beer wasn t bad either), the staff were very very helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much that we spent a further 3 days back at the New Lapaz after the wedding. Sitting in the dinning room overlooking the un-spoilt beach was perfect. My wife & I travel a lot & we couldn t fault the place at all. Well done to you all at the New Lapaz.	Sawadee made our trip through Thailand simple with no problems to report.
Micheline Huber 2008-01-30 until 2008-02-04	New Lapaz Villa, Maenam Beach We liked the hotel very much...ON THE PICTURES! The beach is not that wide (during tide there wasn t even enough beach to walk on). But we really liked the location. It s calm and nice and the sea is gorgeous. The staff on the other hand (especially the grumpy reception ladies) treated us like shit. Probably this was cause we (two backpackers) didn t want to spend as much money as some other customers. The food is ridiculously overprized and i can just recommend the thai restaurant about 3 minutes down the beach (looking out on the sea just walk left and over the dangerous-looking bridge...there you are, very kind personell and great cheap food till 11oclock at night) The hotel didn t even offer us a mosquitonet. By the way, the hotel seems to be some kind of hotspot for upper-middle-class austrians and russians which are by the way not really the most adorable tourists to live next to...but anyway...we liked our stay. Two hints for people who are afraid of spiders and/or dogs. The road which connects the main road with newlapaz is crowded with spiders. They hang about 12 feet in the air and are about 5 inches in diameter...so you probably prefer the road left to it (left if you look in direction of the sea)...this road is absolutely spiderfree...but i wouldn t recommend to walk it after dusk, cause it is crowded with dogs and at night they kinda rule the street ;)...anyway...don t dare going to maenam beach...it s even worse!! (replace spiders, dogs and grumpy personnell with hookers, hookers and loud tekknobeats and you get the impression...)	fast and stable

Peter Poeppel 2006-06-02 until 2006-06-15	New Lapaz Villa, Maenam Beach The Resort itself is located at a beautiful, quiet beach, normally ideal for people searching for recreation and stillness, but Bungalows are quite simple and not very clean. The owner didnt tell me before that they will renovate the pool during my stay. So i had to stand the noise of a working area. She was unfriendly, not helpful and not willing to give a discount or an excuse for that inconvenience. Breakfast and Dinner at the restaurant is not to recommend. For that price you would find a better place in the neighbourhood.	Booking was ok, but you should give more attention and control about that what the hotels and resorts write on their pages. Renovationworks for example should be announced.
Manfred Resch 2006-03-08 until 2006-03-12	New Lapaz Villa, Maenam Beach Nice bungalows, a bit run down but very nice garden/view. New Lapaz has a small swimming pool, not for swimming but to cool down. There seem to live some long term residents, who behave a little bit strange (reckless to other guests).	No problems
