Fritz Bruell 2008-12-24	Thip Residence, Ao Namao Beach This place is like paradise! Friendly and helpful owners, nice furnished, clean. Breakfast with fresh Orange juice, ABF or Thai with Fried rice and shrimps. Well located to Riley Beach boats; for Ao Nang better rent Motorbike.	Perfect like always
John Muggeridge 2008-02-20 until 2008-02-28	Thip Residence, Ao Namao Beach Modern, clean and comfortable hotel with very helpful owners and staff. Nice food and a useful shop. We had a good size well appointed room, ensuite & balcony, and a queen size bed. The mattress was OK, but a bit too firm for western taste. The location is well away from the centre of things, on a beach that remains undeveloped - but not for long. The local beach is actually great if you walk along a couple of hundred yards from the boat area, despite not yet having the treatment - removal of rocks and importing of more sand. At the end of the road is Shell Fossil beach, lovely if you are agile enough to get down to it. Halfway is a government marine life breeding station, which is currently free to go in and off the tourist route, and is well worth a visit. The local bus - flatbed vans with seats and a cover (the hotel called them taxis) are reasonably frequent and very cheap. There are usually tuk-tuks at the boat landing stage, so getting around isn t a problem. Altogether a great holiday - thank you Thip!	Smooth and efficient. Not keen on paying up front - might not have liked the hotel!
Kristina & Yura 2008-02-19 until 2008-02-22	Thip Residence, Ao Namao Beach very nice hotel with good rooms and friendly people, good food. it is 5 km from Ao Nang which is only 20 B per person by tuk-tuk or you can rent a motocycle in Ao Nang which would be easier to get there. Reasonable price for good quality of services.	great, very easy and helpful
Gyuri Mathe 2008-01-27 until 2008-01-31	Thip Residence, Ao Namao Beach The best hotel where we have stayed in Thailand. Rooms are large, clean and look like as you can see on the photos. Air con works quietly (not like in some places where horribly noisy) you have a plus fan above your bed. The owners are really friendly they even took us to Ao Nang by car to help us to hire a motorbike there. The staffs are really helpful too. It is a quite location and nothing really near by but very easy to go to Railay beach by long-tail boat (60THB pp) and Ao Nang is a short ride away. It is perfect if you want to hire a motorbike. There are pick-up tracks during the day (40THB to Krabi and 20THB to Ao Nang pp). Problem is after 7pm they stop and you can only use a tuk-tuk taxi (look like a little red mini bus but open) which 50THB pp from Ao Nang to Thip Residence. I think it is a good value for the money due to the accommodation in Ao Nang is more expensive not to mention Railay beach. Highly recommended! If we go back we definitely stay this hotel again.
