Mary Parent 2008-03-15 until 2008-03-19	Golden Beach Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach Loved our stay at Golden Beach and Krabi was the favorite part of our trip. Positives- Location is excellent, steps from beach. Had one regular room and had one cottage as they were full and had to upgrade one of the rooms. Rooms were spotless, front dest staff were kind, understood most of what we were asking them..just takes patience when communicating. Pool was beautiful, has a deep end, a divided children s pooland available shade from the very hot sun. Breakfast was pretty good, not much variety but we didn t care about that. Outdoor restaurant is lit up at night and is really pretty. My husband passed out twice from heat stroke? in the hotel restaurant(never before) while we were there. The staff called for medical help and were wonderful about helping us. Negatives- not many. Beds are quite hard and it can take getting used to but that s just the way it is in most hotels. Although the staff is so kind, the service in the restaurant needs a big improvement..i.e. meals will come 15 minutes apart (or more) sometimes and once they forgot the order all together and this was when it was not busy at all. I think the staff and cooks? maybe need further training. However the food was good, we just went elsewhere for most meals. Because of the unavailabity of 2 of the same room type, our rooms were very far apart which was a bit frustrating. No clock in room so you should bring your own. I loved this hotel and would stay there again. I have 3 teenaged kids (took 2 with us). This hotel would be great for families...just don t expect to have your special reservation requests met (i.e. rooms adjoining or close together because they often are full). Plan around that. Good job Golden Beach!
Mr Robert Jones 2008-02-18 until 2008-02-23	Golden Beach Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach Good laid back resort, nice breakfast, room and pool, great staff. We felt very comfortable here, shops and restaurants are just a few minutes walk. there were some great tours to the surrounding area. Will recommend to friends.	Very easy, even with lots of emails since we booked late in the busy period. I wish Sawadee would take Baht (bank exchange rate + 1% CC charge) from my Credit Card and not GBP (inter bank/tourist rate + 1% CC charge) as this would be cheaper for me. Will recommend to friends.
Mr. Larsen - Norway 2008-02-14 until 2008-02-19	Golden Beach Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach Excellent service with a smile. Superb bungalows which was clean and nice. We even got to take a shower 8 days after checkout and always perfect service. BEST RESORT I VE STAYED IN!!	perfect.
Mogens Egelund Bendtsen 2008-02-06 until 2008-02-10	Golden Beach Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach The best location, and very nice bungalows, the best i have ever tryed in Thailand.Everybody was kind and helpfull. We stayed 2 more days just to enjoy the sunset from here, and the exotic surroundings.Thanks for a good experience.	Sawadee.com is always the best.

Hege Froiland 2008-01-17 until 2008-01-24	Golden Beach Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach Very nice hotel and staff.The rooms are clean and breakfast is ok! The location is excellent,- best in Krabi! We would really like to stay at this hotel again if- or when- we go back to Krabi!	Everything went smoothly. I asked for recommandation, but never got feedback. Had to chose the hotel myself, but had good luck!
Anna Maria Blokh 2008-01-05 until 2008-01-08	Golden Beach Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach This was a lovely hotel in a great location and very good service. The only problem was that the people on both sides of our room spent a lot of time smoking on their balconies. Everytime we wanted to let some fresh air in, we would get smoke. As all the rooms were fully booked, they couldn t do anything - this was frustrating as we requested a non-smoking room.	Easy to book and pay - no problems.
Bjorn Admeus 2007-12-24 until 2007-12-28	Golden Beach Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach Large nice place with a great pool area. Clean and quiet with very friendly personal. The only drawback is the charter fieling. Stayed 4 nights in a superior room that was realy large.	Worked as always perfect.
Ms. Anne Wiencke 2007-12-21 until 2007-12-28	Golden Beach Resort, Ao Nang, Phranang Beach good location, excellent pool, requested bungalows but only ordinary rooms on ground floor available in spite of booking very early	Booked in March, was told to try again in July where room rates were set. Requested Aonang Villa but was told that there were no vacancies when I repeated my booking beginning of July.
