Bhumiyama Beach Resort, Lonely Beach I was very disapointed with this hotel. The hotel its self looks nice with a lovely pool area. However the service was terrible, We had a problem with our aircondtioning the smell was relly bad, when i asked reception about it she told me it was most likely a dead rat!! but did absoultly nothing about it. There answer to fixing this problem, after i had to ask a few times was to stuff the aircon with some rags that had been soaked in some kind of perfume, which just made matters worse. In the end as they refused to move us we asked for a Fan so we did not need the air con. The room was fairly basic and not that comfortable the pillows in particular were very old and lumpy. We had freinds staying near by in another hotel. They had a much nicer room with working air con and paid less. So shop around!!! |
booking with sawadee was faultless as always. |

Bhumiyama Beach Resort, Lonely Beach I am very disappointed with the hotel. The main reason is because almost everyone at the hotel became sick during different periods. We heard that they had problems over new year where a large number of people become sick. But when we called the hotel confirmed that the problem was solved. After two days I become sick, then my husband and our little son. We do not know if we can relate it to the food. When we started talking to people we find out that 90 procent had been sick. Some had to visit the hospital. We stayed for 9 days and saw people come and go and everyone become sick. When we asked the hotel what they did to solve the problem we did not get any answers. They said it was related to other restaurants food. Impossible I would say. The room was nice, but the area not so nice. The gras was brown and they did not carry trash or bottles or food served at the pool away. It was noicy because of party at different places around this hotel. I would not recommend people to stay here and I would not return. |

Bhumiyama Beach Resort, Lonely Beach Had a great time. Loverly place and pool and breakfast and room. Will be good when they finish the spa/sauna area. Only small negative is that you can t remove your key and leave the air-con on when you leave the room. They have attached it too well. |

Bhumiyama Beach Resort, Lonely Beach They dont call this lonely beach for nothing. Very overpriced. You can do a lot better than this for the money. All action is at white sand beach. |
Very Good |

Bhumiyama Beach Resort, Lonely Beach A resort like many others. A lot of concrete everywhere and signs of wind/weather. Still a solid resort with fine facities. Nabour establishment - Rock Lodge&Restaurant - very reasonable beach restaurant. |
As usually - very smooth and it works. |

Bhumiyama Beach Resort, Lonely Beach Beautiful hotel, couldn t fault it at all. The beach was incredibly quiet and peaceful and the hotel was perfect. We had a superior garden view room which was lovely, very clean and very new looking. The staff didn t speak a huge amount of English but certainly enough and were more than helpful. The best part (aside from the wonderful Thai massages by the beach) was that every afternoon a waiter would come round with cold damp towels and fruit. I wouldn t hesitate to recommend this hotel and wish we hadn t had to come home! |
No problems with the booking service at all, everything went very smoothly. |

Bhumiyama Beach Resort, Lonely Beach The hotel is located about 5km from busier beaches towards the SW of island. It is a beautiful beach, with several adjacent backpacker resorts . The sea was very calm, with no jet skis etc to disturb the peace. The Bhumiyama is the smartest hotel on Lonely beach and when we were there, was populated principally by romantic couples. It is not really a place for kids. The gardens and pools are beautiful, the rooms (we were in the cheapest) are fine. There are other restaurants around, but not many and serve mainly seafood. You can walk (5-10mins) to small shopping area with mini mart/t shirt shops/bars etc.Beware the mosquitoes at dusk aswell as other wildlife (goes with the jungle territory). |
Very smooth, no problems. Usually notified of availability within 24 hrs. |

Bhumiyama Beach Resort, Lonely Beach We stayed in a Bechfront Deluxe Bungalow ; very nice room on the 2nd floor of a bungalow overlooking the pool and beach. The outdoor bathroom was nice to start with but not very functional when it was raining :). We had some problems with the AC but the staff was great and put us in a new room over night while they where fixing the AC and we could move back the morning after. Nice pool area and beach access. The only disturbance could be if you stay in the bungalows located closest to the nighbour Nature Rock bar and they celebrating the full moon party :) in the case you don t go there yourself. Friendly staff...no complaints! |
