Saikaew Villa, Koh Samet, Saikaew Beach Hotel was good value and good location, plenty of space in room, efficient A/C, comfortable beds, however the bathroom and toilet left a lot to be desired (dirty and smelly). |
Excellent booking service, fast response, no problems. |

Saikaew Villa, Koh Samet, Saikaew Beach We do not have too much demands.. but when open door and want to go out, the stinky smell of urin was there all the time.. Urin was also running at the sides of the nearby restuarants. Our family will not again use this hotell. There are other beaches and other hotell at Koh Samed that want to have guests and treat them as guests. |
Booking service was as to be expected, very good,, western standard... |

Saikaew Villa, Koh Samet, Saikaew Beach Saikaew Villa has to be the absolute worst Hotel on the Island, for the money that we paid. Our room was full of Mosquitos, even after we complained. When walking from our room to the three food establishments, the smell of sewer was worse than Bangkok. They have got a big problem, that they do not seem to care about, as I noted there were comments from 2008 about the same thing. We went thinking that they would have fixed it by now. Very unhappy and would never consider them again. The staff acted like we were imposing on them, when eating. We did not leave any TIPS due to the unfriendly atmosphere of the Staff. |
Booking service was great. Thank you for the timely information, I just wish we has gone to another hotel. We paid 1750 baht per night, and the room was crap. |

Saikaew Villa, Koh Samet, Saikaew Beach We spent 3 nights at Saikaew Villa. 6 adults. We are very pleased with the place and the nice staff. This is the second time we spent at Koh Samet. |
We booked at sawadee.com which we always use when travelling in Thailand. We have been there 6 times and it has always worked very well. No problem at all. |

Saikaew Villa, Koh Samet, Saikaew Beach Good value, very good location with obliging staff. The beach frontage is the main feature and undoubtedly one of the best in Asia.Sad to report that this beautiful place is spoilt by the number of dogs, and their excrement that litter the beach.37 dogs counted along a 300m stretch! |

Saikaew Villa, Koh Samet, Saikaew Beach We stayed in the 950 baht huts. The huts themselves were pretty good. Really comfy and large beds, plenty of space and the cleaners did an excellent job every day. However there was alot of construction work going on which woke us up at 07:00 every morning and continued until approx 18:00 which was very annoying if we wanted a kip in the afternoon. There was also a terrible drainage problem in this resort, sometimes it was almost unbearable. The food in the breakfast restaurant was always nice but the staff were some of the worst i have ever seen. A couple of them were half way through a sex change and were plucking there beards and popping spots in the restaurant and the other guys seemed like they wanted to attack us with a machete. Luckily the beaches on Koh Samet were some of the nicest I ve been too so we would definatley go back but probably stay in Silversands resort which is about a 15 minute walk up the road. |

Saikaew Villa, Koh Samet, Saikaew Beach The hotel is located very nice but thats all. The breakfast is very poor and the staff seems tired and bored. At the reception young guys watch TV and seems irritated when you want to ask themn something. The showers and bathroom are very smelly and shower has no power at all. Took me like 20 min to get the scahmpoo out of my hair. No a hotel to recommend and Koh Samet is just a place to rush to if you desperatly need sun, sand and beach. |
Sawadee has never disapointed us. Great!! |

Saikaew Villa, Koh Samet, Saikaew Beach Don t expect too much from the rooms & staff. The room prices are high for the (low) quality offered. I was happy that I had to stay only 1 night. The staff did their job, nothing more. Better stay at Ao Prao or Ao Thian. The resorts seem to have a much higher standard. |
Great. |
