Shana Fromkin 2008-09-09	Havana Beach Resort, Thong Nai Pan Yai I had mixed feelings about this hotel, as I feel that it is really overpriced for what you get. On the positive side, the rooms were well decorated and comfortable. The pool is nice (although there is some construction next door). The room had a safe which allowed you to set your own combination. The room was made up every day. The first room I was in had a strong sewage-like odor coming from the bathroom and I was moved right away to a different room. Other than this incident, the staff were okay but did not go out of their way to be helpful. On the negative side, there was no hot water during my stay. The sauna and jacuzzi were not working and I was told they have not worked for 2 months. The food at the restaurant was absolutely horrible and over priced. I had the worst, most expensive meal of my entire trip at that restaurant. There are many other options for eating on the beach, and if you do stay at this hotel, I would strongly recommend that you do not eat at the restaurant. (Try Dolphin next door for breakfast and lunch and Pinjun Bungalows for a cheap, good dinner.) If you need to go to Thong Sala, the hotel will charge you a ridiculous amount of money to take you unless you can go at the same time as a bunch of other guests, which may not work with your schedule. You can get a taxi from one of the other resorts. While this was not a bad hotel, there were several other options on the beach which are much better value for money than the Havana, which is really overpriced. Thong Nai Pan Yai beach is amazing and I definitely recommend the beach but I would consider other options for accomodation.	Very fast and efficient. I booked at the last minute and got a response in a matter of hours!

The room was clean, but had a very bad smell from the bathroom, staff tryed to cower with some incents but it smell very strong and awfull too. No hot water in two days, toilet got out of order and the door to the balcony couldn t lock too - but the staff fixed booth very well. Breakfast was poor. The internet at hotel didn t work either. The beach is quiet and nice, but water was not clear.	Exellent as always
Tore Hermansen 2008-07-18 until 2008-07-23	Havana Beach Resort, Thong Nai Pan Yai Hotels a couple years old, and the rooms are very nice. Nice pool with sunbeds. Nice beach front, but no sunbeds on the beach. Very good service from the staff and owner. Good restaurant and bar at the beach. We will definitely recomment this hotel.	No problems.

So beautiful, great places to eat and drink and close to the full moon party by boat. The service at this hotel was outstanding!! The staff couldn t do enough. There was 7 of us staying and noone had one complaint. I would higly reccomond this hotel.	Booking couldn t have been easier and any queries i had i got a promt response by email.
Neil Paterson 2008-05-18 until 2008-05-22	Havana Beach Resort, Thong Nai Pan Yai What an excellent hotel!! Only 2 years old and still looks as good as new. The rooms are nice and clean and beautifully presented. The pool area is nice and peaceful and a good size. The bar is right on the beach front and a great place to chill and the beach is lovely and peaceful with safe shallow water. The food at Havana is excellent Western, Thai and Indian and I’m sure if what you want was not on the menu they would do there best to make it for you. The staff are great too nice polite and friendly and if you are lucky to meet the owner Ranja all the better he made every effort to make our stay was as relaxed and enjoyable as he could. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I will be heading back again next year too.	I always use Sawadee as it is just so easy.

Beautiful Beach (Preferred this beach to Phuket and Koh Samui). Lovely place to relax with family. Not the place for you if you are looking for wild parties. Great Pool and Facilities. No tea making facilities in rooms. Resort is New and appears this way. Owners of Resort also manage Resort so service is quick, efficient and friendly. Food good (Indian, Thai or Seafood menu), but a little more expensive than other restaurants on same beach. Road to resort is bad (20km from ferry to resort takes about 1hr and costs about Baht500) Recommed use hotel pick-up from ferry. Had a wonderful stay will definately be back but would stay for longer period.	Smooth check-In with coctail drink. No problems as with all resorts booked through sawadee.
Pearly Ng Choon Wei 2007-11-12 until 2007-11-13	Havana Beach Resort, Thong Nai Pan Yai It s a gorgeous hotel with all facilities u ll need. We went in Nov so it was raining pretty much everyday. Dirt road to get to the hotel was a horrible experience. Staff and owner were wonderful totally met our needs and queries. Beach is quiet and peaceful. But if u want a piece of action like partying or food around the hotel. It s a long distance away. Would definately go again if I want to get away from the city life.	Easy and efficient. Thann!!
Vivi-Ann & Dennis,Denmark 2007-03-02 until 2007-03-05	Havana Beach Resort, Thong Nai Pan Yai We really loved this place!We stayed for 3 nights,but we would love to stay a bit longer.Nice rooms,very good service,and the manager and his sons were so sweet..The hotel is very close to the beach,and the beach is fantastic!!Very quiet and relaxing,and you can eat at one of the restaurants on the beach,very good food,and cheap.We will come back for sure!	No problems ever!
