William Griffith 2009-12-27	The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach Island Resort is in good position for the beach and Chaweng town, modest value for money comfortable bungalow, quiet at night. Very friendly and helpful staff and manegment offering good service. I would stay again.	Sawadee booking always efficent and quick, Resort and transfers all worked perfectly.
James Barcock 2009-12-24	The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach The Island Resort offers value for money comfortable bungalows at a 3 star level, on the beach and near the town. Quiet at night. Very friendly and helpful staff always smiling. Good all round modest resort, I will stay again.	Sawadee booking service is excellent, transfer worked well and on time.
Mrs Maria Goryachikh 2009-12-19	The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach Very good breakfast. Lovely swimming pool and garden. Friendly staff. Nice spa. Now about bad side... - Bungaloes doesn t match their description - ex: floor was not teak but ceramic tiles and roofs were not thatched. Not a problem for me, but I don t like falsehood advertising. - All hotel textiles (curtains, bed linen, towels) are completely worn out (don t mean too old for a hotel , mean good only for shoes polish ). - Beds are uncomfortable: mattresses are old and springs can be felt. - Air conditioning is damn noisy. - Safety boxes in room are disabled (though boxes are still in rooms %)) and only paid safety boxes at reception can be used. - Hair dryer should be borrowed at reception (was really surprising for me) and distance between mirror and nearest socket was not less than 4 meters. Only for people with good vision :) - Chaweng Road STINKS. I mean it. Sewer system. You should stay at beach. But better decision will be to choose another part of island. RESUME: The Island knew better times. Now leave it alone until managers think again and stop regime of economy.	Great :)
John Jeffries 2009-12-17	The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach Nice old bungalows, one day they will update them and the prices will rocket. The nearer the beach the higher the price. However you have to walk to the beach to get breakfast (excellent international buffet)so a cheaper room, take your beach wear in the morning etc etc Warning - Take care of your money, light fingered cleaners. Rob Morley 2009-12-03	The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach The resort is good value for money, it is a little bit tired looking & the rooms abit antiquated, the breakfast is limited but you get what you pay for & this is fine for those on a budget & the staff are very friendly.
