Waterfront, Bophut Beach This small hotel is wonderful. Right on the beach. Sue, the owner, was So friendly and welcoming. Her son Michael was waiting for us when we got off of the plane. The rooms are simple, modern, very attractively made up. They are at the end of the restaurant section of the town. The staff was able to arrange a snorkeling trip for us. If we ever get back to Thailand, we would definitely return to this hotel. |

Waterfront, Bophut Beach The Waterfront was a really nice hotel and the rooms were very clean, the staff very friendly and the gardens were beautiful. The only draw back was that the beach where the hotel is situated is very shallow and rocky. |
Excellent as usual. |

Waterfront, Bophut Beach Nice little place, however, the beach is not good at all, very rocky, way to shallow (at least outside season). We have planned to stay at the resort for 15 days, but decieded that we did nt want to stay there for more than 3 days. What we don t like is that we had to pay all the money for the reservation/booking within the first 5 min after we did arrive to the resort, and since we decieded to leave the place before time, it did cost us nearly 25000 bath for the 3 days (because they wanted deduction for early leave). That is NOT a good service to provide. We went to Hua Hin, much more friendly places there, and we did nt have to pay up front the places we did stay there. The owner however are very helpful and friendly, just thinking to much business regarding money :-( We will never come to Koh Samui again, the island are wasted by to many tourists now. We did have a wonderfull time in Hua Hin, so we are coming back to Thailand again next year. |
Booking fine and friendly |

Waterfront, Bophut Beach Difficult to find any fault with this place. Fantastic location, though at this time of year it s not possible to swim in the sea due to low tides. The rooms provided everything you could possible need with one niggly small exception, ie no hand towels, but that was nothing in comparison will all the things that were provided. The beds were comfortable which for Thailand is a rarity! The cleanliness of the rooms was overwhelming, eg every day the glass doors were cleaned though the towels and bedding weren t changed daily but for me, I see that as a bonus rather than a disadvantage as it saves water and protects the environment. The pool was small but more than adequate and for once, it was cool and refreshing. Anyone travelling with children would find the Waterfront perfect as every kind of toy and game is provided for their entertainment. The staff were amazing with all of them speaking very good English and very friendly. The food was also excellent - I recommend the pomelo salad and the fried rice is the best I ve had anywhere. Hosts Robin and Sue give everyone the warmest welcome and work hard to make sure all their guests have a holiday to remember. |

Waterfront, Bophut Beach The Waterfront was an oasis of relaxation and we had a lovely quiet week there. Food is very nice there and they lay on a great breakfast. Lots of sun beds which was great and a nice pool to cool off in. We would go back and stay here again. All the staff work very hard. If we had to offer any creative critism - I would say that cleaning staff (and lobby/pool staff) can be a little noisy if they are cleaning/working an early. We had them all laughing and joking loudly at 8am ouside our door - great they are happy in their work, but not if you want a lay in! Carol in reception is a lovely helpful lady, a real asset to Waterfront. |

Waterfront, Bophut Beach The waterfront is by far the best hotel I have stayed in. The staff the service and I think mainly the atmosphere and surroundings make this hotel so good. I stayed in a five star hotel the night before travelling to Thailand and it wasn t a patch on the Waterfront. Nothing else to say, if you want to go to a quieter side of Samui than Chaweng, the Waterfront is the ONLY choice. |
Excellent. A really personal service from Robin the hotel owner. You really know where you stand and what you re getting. |

Waterfront, Bophut Beach We liked the Waterfront and would definitely recommend it. This is a great value for the price especially during the low season. The high points are: breakfast, the pool and the rooms are very spacious and clean. The owners are charming and we very much enjoyed our stay. |
Very efficient and reliable. |

Waterfront, Bophut Beach What can I say? Robin and Sue (Margot & Jerry!!!) were wonderful hosts - making an effort to remember everyone s name. The Waterfront was just like being with your family! We were only here for one night (stopping over on the way to Koh Tao) and were really sad to leave. The hotel was full, but there never seemed to be anyone around! We went into Chaweng (big mistake - just like Phuket, and we wouldn t rush back to either), and when we returned, Sue and Robin were there (just like Mum & Dad) asking where we d been. Super couple. Michael picked us up from the airport and when we arrived, we were given a welcome drink (of our choice). Sue and Robin let us leave a case with them so that we didn t have to lug it to Koh Tao, which was very ind of them. They didn t want any money, so we put 500bt in the Staff Tip Box. Loved Carol, and the dogs Honey and Judy. Can t wait to return for a longer stay next year. |
Fab as usual! |
