The Sundays Sanctuary Resort & Spa, Bophut Village
I do like the room with nature design, especially the Japanese style bed zone. However, the room was not so clean as what I expected and I could find the insects and ants on the floor and spider web at the corner. The location is truely not convenient at all. We need to take 10min walk to mainroad and another 10min to bophut beach. The beach is less beautiful than Chaweng. More, the taxi fare is very expensive in Samui(it take 300bhts to Chaweng beach one way). Thus, I won t recommend this hotel unless you d like to stay in a quiet place without any beach life.

I was utterly disappointed to find out that the Spa part of this resort was closed. This was the sole reason I had booked it and only found out when I wanted to book a massage. The food was excellent and the service was good, but the accommodation was basic and the concrete floors / bathroom made it feel dirty.

Excellent

The Sunday s was beautiful. The pool, the garden, the rooms great. The service very good and the kitchen the best. Also the transfer to the airport.

Excellent small hotel with attentive service and a wonderful Jack Russell named Lamut. She was a super replacement for our dogs that we had to leave at home whilst we were away. Nice, clean and good sized room just by the pool. Great place for relaxing although probably not so good for kids as there is little in the way of children s entertainment. A bit off the beaten track as it is a 15 minute walk to Fisherman s Village or a 200 baht taxi ride. Overall though, we loved it and will go again if we can.

First class service from start to finish.

We have been staying at this hotel for 7 days. This wonderful place was absolutely close to our whishes. This hotel seems to be very cosy, comfortable and friendly. We felt ourselves like on a beautifull island, a peace of wide nature. Instead of it there was a good spa service. We whish good luck and success to the staff and all hotel team. And we want to say you big russian thanks - SPASIBO!!!

Your service was incredible as it always is.

We absolutely loved Sundays Sanctuary. It definitely lived up to it s name it is a complete sanctuary away from the maddness of many other places on Samui. We had a great 4 night stay and wished it could have been longer. It was the end of our 3 week honeymoon and our room was lovely. Very modern, clean, minimalist asian style with extremely comfy big bed but also very rustic with thatched roofs, lush gardens and balcony view of the pool. It was so chill there and the staff are lovely & funny. The restaurant food & bar was outstanding and cheap with generous servings. Great traditional Thai dishes. Even though we were just around the corner from all the restaurants of Fishermans Village we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort. Great pool. Just a very friendly and laid back place where you can do what you want. It is definitely for those wanting to get away from it all. It s a little off the main road but we hired a bike from the resort and got our own way around which made it much cheaper than getting cabs. Free internet too. Check it out - we will definitely be back.

Impeccable as always - thanks

This place was great, it was our final stay before we returned back to Melbourne and it truely was a sanctuary. We stayed 4 nights and were one of about 4 couples in the whole resort. While the room was basic, it was very clean and the people that ran the resort were very nice and accomodating. We ate at the restuarant every night as the food was some of the best we had in Thailand and was very reasonably priced. The swimming pool was large and quite private as there was a wall of trees between it and the restaurant. It is situated in Bo Phut, so probably a 15-20 minute motorbike ride to Chaweng Beach - and Bo Phut beach itself is not somewhere you would go to, to swim and lay about. If you are looking for a really quiet nice place to relax and chill out I would highly recomend Sunday s Sanctuary Resort - oh and Mammut the dog is incredibly cute as well.

Fantastic Service - no Problems and have used a number of times.

What an beautiful place! We really enjoyed our stay at Sundays Sanctuary Resort, which is surrounded by tropical gardens. There were some constuction works next to the resort, but it didn t bother your stay. The garden bungalows are spacious and clean and the staff very helpful and kind. We can defenitely recommend this place.

Excellen as always
