Very helpful if you have any needs or problems.
john pinson 2007-12-05 until 2007-12-13	Santiburi Resort, Maenam Beach A wonderful hotel with beautifully maintained grounds, stayed in a beach front villa, good sized bedroom and bathroom, all staff were exceptional, friendly, helpfull and attentive, drinks and food on the pricey side as you would expect, quality of food first class. A lovely quiet beach sea a bit rough for swimming (maybe time of year) and no lifeguards, hotel pool was great enormous and heated. we had a very pleasant stay and would probably return.	First class, no problems whatsoever, quick resonse to enquiries, very efficient and competitive. would use again

Pushpa Rai 2006-06-18 until 2006-06-22	Santiburi Resort, Maenam Beach The hotel is beautiful, everything you can expect from a 5 star hotel. Only complains are the swimming pool floor area is slippery for kids running around and there should be a play area or ground for kids to occupy their time. The other thing you might want to do is to check out Renaissance hotel and the Samui Sala hotel in addition to this hotel. These were my main comparisons but the other two were fully booked. The std garden villa in Santiburi was beautiful and fastastic viesw, however the living area and bedroom are not separated, too small for us 3 adults.	Perfect!

Firsttime in Santiburi Resort and i can recomand this place to everybody who is looking for outstanding service, excellent accomandation. i ve never been in a place where i could relax like i did here. Going again next year says it all!	Excellent as always.
Ross Samchalk 2004-11-25 until 2004-11-30	Santiburi Resort, Maenam Beach The hotel is beautifully maintained. The pool area is serene and relaxing. The Garden Villa is a nice size with a relaxing private patio, chairs and lovely views. The staff is outstanding... very helpful, friendly and attentive. The hotel offers 3 restaurants, Thai, Italian and grilled seafood on the beach. I tried all 3... all 3 were fantastic. Breakfast was in yet another dining location... the buffet alone caused me to gain 5 kilos alone. What else... ah, the hotel offers great water sports including kayaking, sailing, and snorkeling. The use of the equipment is complimentary (at least it was in my experience). Each room has a dvd player and the hotel offers a nice library of complimentary dvds... which I thought was very nice. No complaints. I will return... someday.	The booking service was fine. I was a little bit worried about prepaying for the reservation in advance. Sawadee.com, however, was completely professional and attentive and set my mind at ease. Flying into Samui, my flight was cancelled due to a typhoon and I had to spend 1 night in Bangkok. Sawadee.com was very fair in their treatment of this issue and agreed to refund the one night I was not able to spend in Santiburi. I have no complaints regarding the booking service.
Mrs Sharon McCarten 2004-09-01 until 2004-09-02	Santiburi Dusit Resort, Maenam Beach The hotel we booked in Chewang was fully booked on our last day so we booked one night at the Santiburi Resort ( name change 8/04 )From the minute we arrived until we departed the service was exceptional. Our garden villa room was ready and prepared as requested ( extra bed was in the room) also waiting was a personalized invite to a cocktail party poolside. Our overnight stay seemed like a full weekend - the beach was lovely and remote, the hotel surroundings were tranquil and lush, and the service was of a high standard albeit a bit slow. It is a great destination if you wish to just lay by the pool or soak up the sun at the beach. I did try the spa but was not overly impressed by the service. We will definately visit this resort again - next time we would like to play at their golf course. Here is the only negative comment I have - if you have children, it would be nice to have a well organised & well supervised kids club. Not just a playstation room and DVDs.
