Barry Jackson 2009-04-25	Samui Garden Resort, Big Buddha Beach My second stay there and just as good as the last. Nice clean houses with fridge and cooking facilities. There s no things like laundry, restaurants and the like but they are not far away. Quiet place so you may need some transport but there are several walkable bars and eateries. Very nice stay. Jenny Björklund 2009-02-25	Samui Garden Resort, Big Buddha Beach This resort has got to have the absoltely worst caretaker and management there is. The caretaker of the resort opened a locked drawer and stole 1000 baht from us. Since we didn´t trust her from the beginning we marked the drawer with a line. When confronted she payed us back in 15 minutes. Management ( a guy in Germany) where going to investigate this but his comments and actions back to us was very strange. He responded very hostile to us. He doubted me directly. And when I said to him that I didn´t like the locals outside to threath my family (after the stolen money incident) he said... About the locals outside: do you really think that I can tell people what they have to do or not? Where are you there, in their country or yours? This was the response after I told him that people had confronted my wife and 2 small children (I was not with them at time). There where almost no cleaning of our house, we counted 4 cleanings in aprox 7 weeks. Should be 14! 4-6 dogs are always running around inside the resort. They follow the caretaker wherever she goes. And has also (this I heard, not witnessed myself...gone in to several houses, even been found sleeping in beds!) Our neighbours in houses on both sides of us where also very unsatisfied. One moved 1 month earlier then planned due to bad conditions. His comments will be posted later on. DO NOT GO HERE! Corinne Burgess 2009-01-02	Samui Garden Resort, Big Buddha Beach We arrived on port Nathon but no one was there to meet us as we requested. We got into a tuk tuk and asked them to take us to Big Buddha Beach. when we got there, no one had heard of the place and even asked the locals who spoke English. We drove around in a taxi for 2 hours in a very small place looking for Samui Garden Resort and not even the taxi driver knew where it was. Ended up staying at another place and losing our deposit. Very unhappy and not even sure the place exists
Danette Beetge 2008-02-17 until 2008-02-26	Samui Garden Resort, Big Buddha Beach The resort is small and a bit of a way away from the beach. It is located close to Bangrak beach which is very quiet. We had to pay for electricity that I did not pick up on the website befor, my mistake. It was, however very nice and quiet with aircon. Very clean and the landlady was very helpful with organising a hire car and taxi. Overall very nice!	Verry effecient!

Barry Jackson 2005-08-02 until 2005-08-07	Samui Garden Resort, Big Buddha Beach Just 5 or 6 well equipped chalets make up this site. Good cooking facilities were a nice surprise and there were some shops and a market local to stock up the fridge. Only problem I thought was a lack of security as there were no other guests there at the time. Very pleasant and relaxing. Within walking distance of the airport but you d probably never find the place so it s just as well they kindly sent a taxi for me.	Fine
Grant Craig 2005-06-09 until 2005-07-08	Samui Garden Resort, Big Buddha Beach where do i start,or should i really say.yes i will.got there fifty minutes after flight,airport only ten minutes away.work that ine out.verty hard to find,not signposted.the resort is not a resort,it is 7 bungalows in the middle of scrubland,next to a water pump station.get there and man takes rest of deposit and rent,which i thought very expensive,but the bungalows were nice.six days into holiday and get burgled.taken money and personal property,reports to owner of property,nothing done or said,later find out ther is a big problem with thieves targeting farang,and was not told of any such things .i also visited other parts of thailand,while samui was my base.cleaner stole money while away.came back.second last day,she stole cd,s.i approached her about problem,denied all account of doing so.so i asked for police to come.next i know people start to come to bungalow looking for problems.my time at samui garden resort was a nightmare,not sleeping after burglary,until i left.i ask anybody who reads this to think twice about booking samui garden resort if going to samui,i couldnt even trust the cleaner,shes a snake and lier.	booking service was very quick and very efficient ,as always i book through sawadee.com
James Ayres 2005-04-06 until 2005-04-15	Samui Garden Resort, Big Buddha Beach The Samui Garden Resort was very pleasent, spacious and comfortable. The Owners and staff are very helpful. The resort is convenient to all anyone would want - shops, bars, restaurants etc and only 5 mins walk from the beach. I would certainly return there for value for money air conditioned clean and comfortable acommodation.

The cleaning lady was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again for a longer period in the not too distant future. Andy & Jackie Jersey CI	The booking service was good but it did not mention a rather large deposit was expected on arrival. We explained we knew nothing about this and as it was near the end of our stay in Thailand were not pleased to pay it. The owners agreed to cancel it and so we did not have to pay.
