Torill Algrøy 2007-02-23 until 2007-02-27	Big John Beach Resort, Lipa Noi Beach We have just got home from 3 weeks in Thailand. We had never been in Thailand before but this has been the best holiday ever. We stayed at Big John for 5 days and had booked a Beach Front Bungalow. This was excellent! Very nice place. 5 meters from the beach,10 meters from the pool and a few meters more to the restaurant. The personnel working at Big John were very nice. We are 2 adults and 2 children (4 and 9 years old) from Norway. We will come back to Big John later.	Very good.
ANGELA MURRAY 2006-01-24 until 2006-02-02	Big John Beach Resort, Lipa Noi Beach We booked at the last minute, hoping to find a somewhere right on a quiet beach. Big John 2 was perfect. There are few hotels in Lipanoi, which means you don t get hassled on the beach by vendors like the bigger resorts. The courtesy bus into Nathon was useful, especially if you want a taxi to the other resorts. Staff work very hard and are friendly. Had a relaxing time. Brilliant if you want to get away from it all. But if you are looking for nightlife, this may not be the place for you.
Kristi 2006-01-02 until 2006-01-05	Big John Beach Resort, Lipa Noi Beach A wonderful haven from the crowds of Chaweng & Lamai. It s peaceful and isolated, with a nice shallow, rock-free beach and beautiful sunsets. Location makes it VERY expensive to get to other parts of the island unless you rent a car or motorbike. The food is a little pricy, but it s worth every baht. Excellent service all-around.	very easy, no problems
Christina Janssen 2005-12-16 until 2005-12-23	Big John Beach Resort, Lipa Noi Beach We loved our stay at Big John and will defenitely come back. All staff was really friendly and helpful at all times. They were great with our three children and even carried the baby around so we could enjoy a quiet dinner. It is a perfect place for families. Our two bigger kids (4 and 6) disappeared for hours to play on the beach/playground/pool with all the new friends they met there. Big John´s remote location works great for people who just seek a quiet place ... but might not be the right choice for people who want shopping and a variety of restaurants at their doorstep.... But fine for us - we will be back next year!
Gail Hawkins 2005-08-06 until 2005-08-07	Big John Beach Resort, Lipa Noi Beach This is a pretty nice place, quite picturesque. The rooms were clean although not very cozy. The breakfast was not included but what we had was good – although I never really got my order because there was some confusion – but my partner was kind enough to share and it was tasty. To be honest, Big John left me a little disappointed because at check out they surprised us with a 500THB bill for the taxi service from the airport. This was about half the cost of one night at the hotel to put things into perspective. It was my understanding that there was no fee for airport pick-up. I had no choice but to pay it. I felt ripped off which is really too bad because it was a nice enough place. Surprising guests with unexpected expenses is never a good way to perpetuate business.	Very good
