Coral Bay Resort, Chaweng Beach Absolutely fantastic! A little wary as I booked online and was not sure how resort would compare to the website but it was exactly as promoted. Bungalows great size, restaurant good, quiet and beautiful beach. Staff lovely. Would not hesitate to go back. |
Excellent. Responded to any queries I had promptly. |

Coral Bay Resort, Chaweng Beach Definitely one of the most beautiful resorts on Samui island. Set in a wonderful lush tropical garden, guests can relax in nicely designed one- or two party villas with an individual character. The staff is perfect, service impeccable, very helpful people! The only minus is the breakfast. Not bad as such, it is a bit dull and one would want to see a little more of culinary creativity go into it. By the way, you will find the breakfast thing repeatedly mentioned at a number of forums by visitors to Coral Bay. The restaurant is fine but there are so many fine restaurants around that one should try them as well. Hire a scooter (at the reception) and do not stay at the resort all the time. There are dozens of attractive excursions, day and night, that the hotel management will help you to arrange. Try the Thail Culinary Institute for a coooking course! In total - no regret whatsoever! |
Everything went as smooth as silk! Thanks for a great holidays! |

Coral Bay Resort, Chaweng Beach We spent 12 wonderful days at Coral Bay Resort to celebrate my birthday and christmas with our family. We were 12 people all together, from 2 to 83 years old. We cannot thank enough for the excellent and kind service we got from everybody at the resort. My husband, who is handicapped and walks with a stick, always got a helping hand when needed. The manager Peter was especially kind and gave us many good advices about trips that was good for the children and so on. The restaurant was really good and the breakfast was extraordinary. We have never stayed in such a nice and beauty ful place and I hope we will be back. I only have one small complaint. It would have been nice with a plan over the resort on the website, so we could see where the bungalows were placed. |
Very good and efficient. |

Coral Bay Resort, Chaweng Beach We had the most fantastic stay at Coral Bay Resort. An absolute haven in the middle of what has now unfortunately become a very commercialised Samui. The huts were just gorgeous and had everything you could need with a luxurious holiday feel. Most especially the team at Coral Bay were so exceptionally friendly and helpful - it really makes your trip. I hope places like this don t sell out to the larger establishments that are now prevalent on this once beautiful island getaway. If you are looking for some luxury, but built into and complementing the natural attributes and surroundings - don t go past Coral Bay. And the Amata Spa is absolute HEAVEN. Thank you Coral Bay for such a brilliant stay. |
Very efficient and helpful. Thanks |

Coral Bay Resort, Chaweng Beach I cannot praise Coral Bay Resort highly enough. The staff are so helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. This is my third time there in three years and it s wonderful to go to a place where you feel like a long lost friend but are still treated like an honoured guest. A visit to the spa leaves you floating on a cloud and my skin has never been this soft. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. |
Excellent service. Highly recomended. |

Coral Bay Resort, Chaweng Beach Our second time back here, and the resort itself reatains most of its charm - the accomodation is excellent and the staff equally so. One major issue though...the building work on a new resort complex currently underway next door was pretty intrusive - JCBs and heavy trucks working on the beach can t be anything but intrusive, and the current works have cut the beach off making it all but impossible to walk along the beach to the main area of Chaweng beach. It also made the walk along the road in the evening somewhat more dangerous, with heavy trucks charging around, as the workers appeared to be working on the site until midnight and beyond. Add to this the current works that the hotel is undertaking to demolish and replace it s own beach bar and a certain amount of the tranquility is most definitely lost. This didn t ruin our break - in fact we would certainly return - but not without checking first with Coral Bay that the works had been completed....the signs indicated an opening date for the next door resort of December 2007, but it looked a lot further away from completion than that. |

Coral Bay Resort, Chaweng Beach Coral Bay Resort is located on the Northern, secluded end of Chaweng Beach. We liked being in a quieter area, but within a short taxi ride of all the great restaurants in Chaweng (Recommend Eat Sense and Zico s - a fabulous Brazilian Barbecue). The Resort has a great restaurant with a wide selection and good breakfast buffet. The Pool is not large, but there is a shallow children s section. The Resort is on a secluded bay with a beautiful view. There is coral in the water that makes it a little difficult to wade at times, but the water is so clear that it was not hard to walk around the coral and out to the nice sandbar - around the sandbar the sand was very soft and water very shallow for quite a ways, perfect for our two year old to run around and splash. Plenty of beach chairs. We stayed in the Deluxe Family Bungalow with my wife s parents in one room and us in the other. We really liked our rooms, very spacious (even with our son s portable crib), and the bathrooms were spacious as well. The staff, especially the manager (Peter), were very friendly and helpful. Would also like to mention that directly across from the entrance to the resort is O.A. Travel - we used them for all our taxi, laundry, touring needs and they were fantastic and cheaper. Just got their card and called their cell phone if we needed a ride into or out of town. Very convenient. Also, this resort is next door to the Nora resort, whose restaurant is also quite good and convenient to walk to. Lastly, there was construction next door to Coral Bay while we were there, but it did not disturb us at all. |
Very easy! |

Coral Bay Resort, Chaweng Beach as always i was overjoyed to be back at the quiet private spacious and comfort of coral bay resort where i found everyone helpful friendly and warm...coral bay has easy 3 minute access to the bustling chaweng beach but feels like a little luxury in a remote island paradise...oh it is....highly recommend if u love thai bungalows and beautiful gardens...mary bruce |

Coral Bay Resort, Chaweng Beach Beautiful resort, very quiet and relaxing. Bungalows were fantastic and the gardens surrounding the property were amazing. Easy to rent a scooter or catch a cab to take you into Chaweng, if you so desire. |
