Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Sarikantang Beach The resort was great the facilites were wonderful the pool was however small and there were no phones or clocks in the rooms so it was difficult to know what time it was when we woke as we didn t bring phones. The geckos and toads/frogs that came into the bungalows got me a little sqeamish. We stayed in the hilltop deluxe oceanview first which was quite a climb to get to and had to change as it was becoming an ordeal getting up and down especially first thing in the morning or after a few drinks. We moved to one of the bungalows opposite the pool. Just as the first bungalow they had big gaps in the bathrooms so all kinds of creepy crawlies were able to get in. Something to bear in mind if you or your partner are anti-creepy crawly. The mosquitos are about alot and so I would definitely recommend taking some repellant and get some of those coil things from the town they re like incense that the repel the bloodsuckers! The town is interesting alot of restaurant/bars with huge tv s so that you can watch movies and series like friends & family guy to a few drinks etc. One place had bean bags and you could lay there on the floor which was super chilled out fo sho ! The food eveywhere was absolutely fantastic the Pad Thai was a big favourite and the burgers were great too! If you were looking for a little more relaxation the kind that Thailand and Amsterdam can offer there is a place called the Reggae Reggae bar that offers a little sumthin sumthin for all you Marley fans! Funny thing there was a kind of sign outside the bar with Bob Marley chilling out with a fat J someone had swiped it apparently some people who had had a few too many and made off with it to the Full moon party!! The Full moon party was a sight to see but I would keep your wits about you as there alot of people out there trying to make a quick Baht and rip off the many drunken full mooners! The restaurant at the resort was without a doubt the most friendly and relaxed place we d ever been. The staff were mostly Burmese and they all gave us great advise on where to go in town and one of the waitresses even took us to a great seafood grill was very sweet. I would seriously resommend you visit but be weary of Mossie and his many bloodsucking pals. |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Sarikantang Beach A little bit of paradise tucked away in a quiet spot. Absolutely loved it. We had a first row deluxe, which was a few metres away from the pool, restaurant and beach. Food at restaurant was really good and reasonably priced, staff were always helpful and friendly and I would definitely stay there again. |
No problems, very helpful, everything went smoothly. |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Sarikantang Beach We stayed for 3 nights during our honeymoon -beach front suite. This was lovely; huge bath and outside deck with private beach area with sunbeds, 4 metres from the sea! Good service and food. Quieter than Sunset Beach side which was perfect and its only a 5 min walk when you want the nightlife. |
I has slight problems with my card but the communicaton was excellant and they solved the problem quickly. |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Sarikantang Beach Good hotel. Not a great beach for swimming but very nice. Hotel staff and the spa is fabulous. Beachfront suite is nice but a little overpriced. Overall we had a wonderful vacation and would return to Sarikantang! |
good but took a little while to get replies. |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Sarikantang Beach Location is great. It s about a 10 minute walk to where the Full Moon Party is located. The Hotel itself is a very nice layout. Rooms are OK as well. The beach was rocky and dirty, but I think that was because of the time of year with the low tide. However, the beach view was great. My biggest concern was the lack of genuine interest the front desk showed. My power in bungalow 25 kept going out (4 times) everyday for 2 days. At night trying to sleep in the heat was unbearable. I realized it was the breakers and fixed the problem myself instead of going to the desk every time. However, the front didn t seem to care at all or even offer an apology. That left a bitter taste in my mouth and I probably want to heading to the place again with so many other better viable options in the area. Overall, this place gets a B minus for the amount I payed and the service received. |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Sarikantang Beach The hotel itself is very beautiful and impressive. The hotel is situated on a very nice beach, but the rooms have no hot water and the hotel is totally isolated from the rest of the island. It takes around 20 minutes to get to the center of the island. |
Web Sawadee is a very easy and helpful system to use. |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Sarikantang Beach AMAZING. One of the best beach hotels I have ever stayed in. Beautifully clean. Terrace swing. In-built huge bath facing ocean. Four-poster bed. £2 thai food. I want to go back! |
