Hotel was a bit outdated, staff was friendly, but there was hardly any service around the hotel. Not nearby the pool or at the beach. Location is quite nice hardly any guests/tourist, although it was high season. The restaurant at the beachside was the only available restaurant in the hotel (so hardly no other choise). The nearby Beach club we have never found it ourself. But found another cozy Thai beach restaurant

Beautiful setting with polite and helpful staff. Room is large and clean and service efficient -- not exactly 5-star, but good enough. Spa pavelion is beautiful and spa service attentive and professional. The best part is the lovely hotspring pool -- temperature is just right and body feels so relaxed after each soak.

Efficient and painless.

I d give it a 2.5 out of a 5. The site the hotel has is beautiful and the infrastructure is great (grounds are beautiful). however, there is a lack of upkeep on the property (could be that the hotel is having financial difficulties since the Tsumani, I m not sure??). The spa could have been cleaner (there was mold on the walls of the steam room). If Hotsprings just stepped up a bit on the cleanliness, updates some of its facilities, it could get a 5 out of a 5.

Overall, booking service was fine. We had no problems checking into the hotels. The Sawadee agents could improve written english skills a bit.

I was more than delighted by the gracious services and beautiful accommodations at The Hotspring Beach Hotel. I would certainly return on my next visit to Thailand.

A beautiful resort, which we had almost to ourselves -- much to our surprise. We enjoyed the fact it wasn t swampred by our fellow Americans -- in fact, there weren t any others there -- but that makes us wonder whether you are missing a chance to market the Hot Spring better. The staff was very attentve and friendly, though a little short on English skills. The resort seemed to be running well but on auto-pilot, without the presence of a strong general manager to stay on top of details such as burned-out decorative lights. (A small thing but telling.) We also think the Hotspring missed a chance to market its spa services by failing to aggressively market them within the hotel. At our previous stay, the management offered a 20-minute complimentary massage, and we ended up booking full sessions. Here we did not. We were a bit disappointed that we had to arrange a trip to Khao Sok N.P. on our own after the desk indicated they could not help us -- though in previous email we were told we could. We managed on our own, but it would have been nice to know our provider had been vetted by the resort management. That being said, the overall experience was very positive -- beautiful grounds, comfortable room, friendly staff, good food, well-chosen and reasonably priced wine. The Hotspring has made a wonderful recovery from the tsunami.

Trouble-free.
