Miguel Melo 2008-08-27	Sri Lanta, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach Strong recommend; very nice and beautiful, quiet...warmy recepction and very very very nice the people who is working there; our regards to Tam, Eddy, Phi phi and the girls from the bar. The food also very good.I won t suggest to go Koh lanta during monsoon season, the beach was really dirty! Sri Lanta is a nice hotel with character.	very effective service, well done!
Aldo & Magali 2007-12-07 until 2007-12-10	Sri Lanta, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach This hotel was just beautifull. The restaurant, pool and all activities center are just front of the beach. All rooms (bungalow) are located in the jungle beyond the main coast road who go to the national park in the south og Koh Lanta. The first rooms are quite near the road, when we arrived, we got one of this room, but we were not happy with it as it was too near the main road and the front of the bungalow jungle was not really clean (trash and papers)... So we asked for another room, we had to insist to get a good room more up in the jungle. This one was better and more quiet, but it still was not a best located one... We had a Terrace bungalow, it was nice, but not as nice in the photos we saw on the website, as the room had no floral decoration, and it wasn t very clean. So we had to clean it ourself, by chance my girl friend made some nice floral decoration with some flowers found near the room. From this time, we where like home but in jungle!! :) Anyway, this place was very nice, the staff was really kindly and good. Service @ restaurant was very good and very nice. Food in the restaurant was also very good, thai & international. The day before leaving, our room was cleaned up by the staff and we got real flover decoration.. the room looked like the photos we saw. It was hard to leave this beautifull place... Another important thing. We asked for a transportation from Krabi Airport to the hotel, so we get a Minivan at airport with 2 very kindly staff person, then we take a speedboat to Koh Lanta (ca 30 minutes) and we then again take minivan to the Hotel. This was priced 1400 THB per person, it s a bit expensive, but this was much more simple than taking a taxi or minivan to Krabi Pier, get in Ferryboat to Koh Lanta and then take again Minivan in Koh Lanta Pier... All this is less expensive, but all in all, it was a very good solution for us. We recommend this hotel to every one who d like a pleasant and quiet stay. By the way, if you d like to have a look to Koh Lanta, simply rent a Motorbike to the Hotel, the price is really cheap and this is the beat way to discover the Island... Respect the Island, as mass tourism is not the best thing for it!!!	Good, efficient and simple !

Service levels have dropped significantly even though hotel was not full - nobody seems to be in charge, staff lying around in common areas smoking and looking less than interested. Great public areas but service and rooms let this hotel down	Excellent, as usual

Rooms were as described, as expected: natural surrounding, one with nature, respectful of environment, etc. No disappointments there. Don t fall for the extras: although it has a great view, the high path is rather far from the beach and unless you plan on taking a bath on your balcony, it is utterly useless to spend the cash on it. As for the veranda, it is nice and closer to the beach (the west wing), but I never used the chairs on it, as I preferred to go directly on the beach (which is across the narrow main road; don t let that bother you by the way, it has its charm believe me!). The hotel is very quiet, and sleep was peaceful (I was in room 313, a very good choice). Beautiful pool, awesome beach at high tide, scenic at low tide because of some rocks. The hide tide hides them all and did not affect my swimming. The restaurant is expensive and nothing special. Go next door to Miami, or Cook-kai further down the road, or Otto further down the beach. Everything is North of you, as Sri Lanta is the last resort on that strip of beach, which I found convenient for my needs (I needed privacy!). So... the food is expensive, and so are the massages! 1400 Baht, when 300 Baht everywhere else on the beach. No regrets on this pick, expect plan to have massages, lunches and dinners somewhere else. Worth it!!!	fast and effective. no problems here. use it!
Jens Blirup 2007-02-17 until 2007-03-03	SriLanta, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach Not at all like the pictures you see on their homepage. Had a fat rat in the room the first 2 days. After that we had a mouse. It is not worth the money. They try to be something that they are not. My recomendation is to go for something else. Relax Bay is a good suggestion. But there s plenty of other options on the super Koh Lanta. If you go diving I recommend Flip Flop diving company.	Booking service through the internet went perfect
Julie / Geraldine, Switzerland 2007-01-22 until 2007-01-28	SriLanta, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach Very beautiful hotel, located on a quiet part of the island, with some good restaurants around (you might want some directly on the beach). Rooms are quite simple, some bugs around. Service is friendly, but not always efficient. Common parts of the hotel are beautiful. The common spaces are beautiful and very well-tended. The pool is gorgeous, but small. One negative comment is that there were a lot of families and young children when we were there, not very compatible with the serene atmosphere the hotel wants to promote. One very positive point were the fantastic yoga lessons. Despite what is said on several website, they are NOT free (200 THB)but worth every penny of it. Would definately go back.	Although we reserved many weeks in advance, Sawadee insisted on having us paid for full stay directly.
Steven Iffland 2006-12-18 until 2006-12-21	SriLanta, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach Only stayed for three nights, nice hotel but could be smartened up a bit, there website and pictures are not quite the same as reality, The restaurant is horribly overpriced, much nicer and cheaper food is on offer just down the beach. Not a ba place to stay just don t expect too much	perfect
Felicity Halliwell 2006-12-01 until 2006-12-05	SriLanta, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach Sri Lanta was a wonderful place to stay in Koh Lanta. It is a little more expensive than some other accomodation but well worth the money as the other places never looked at the same standard. It is located a 15 minute drive from the town/port probably almost the last hotel located that far south but perfect in our opinion. We stayed 4 nights and wish we had been able to stay longer as it was very peaceful and friendly but not over the top or intrusive. It is a classy/modern place situated right on the beach, there is a small but gorgeous pool but with more than enough lounges along the property s beach front. The only thing with Sri Lanta is they don t always do the smaller things to make the stay extra special but for the price it was exceptional, my husband and I will definitely recommend it to family and friends and stay there again next time we go to Lanta. The only advise, you can arrange a minibus to/from the airport from many of the travel agencies for 300B per person which is heaps cheaper than the hotel.	We booked it after recommendation from a friend so booked last moment through Sawadee and they were very fast and efficient and much cheaper than going through the hotel.
Martin Pasgaard 2006-11-27 until 2006-11-30	SriLanta, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Nin Beach Very charming reception area zen-style . The bungalows were across the main road and up the hill (in the jungle). We had alot of guests in our room and checked out 2 days early because of cochroaches and a giant spider in our first room (we changed after one night). The staff were very helpfull and friendly but if you dont like living with bugs you should consider another resort. The bathroom is open air and this kept ud from using it at night because of we didnt now what to find out there.	Not too helpfull when changes had to be made.
