Catherine and Patrick 2008-04-23 until 2008-04-26	The Old Phuket Hotel, Karon Beach Stayed in a private spa room for 3 nights and loved it, quiet location, some restaurants and shops within walking distance, Karon beach wonderful, Karon village good for shopping and nightlife. It s only a short walk to the beach, and you can rend a deckchair or sit in the sand. Room was great, modern, with an open-air shower. The staff at reception don t speak such good english but they still go out of their way to work things out. So all in all, a great place, far from the hustle and bustle, nice colonial feel to it. We would definitely go back if staying in phuket.	Great, as usual. Thanks.

Nicola Psenner 2008-04-14 until 2008-04-16	The Old Phuket Hotel, Karon Beach The room (Jacuzzi Twin) was wonderful. We liked the pure style very much and had a lot of fun with the Jacuzzi. The personnel was very polite and helpful and the room clean. The only thing which was a little uncomfortable was, that we had the last first room (beachside) and the fence door was so far away. Perhaps you could think of installing small fence door at several positions of the white fence. Thank you for a wonderful stay in KARON, I was really positively surprised as we are the typical backpackers and just had to stay in Phuket because of our flight to Bangkok.	Booking service via Thailands-Inseln.de was very comfortable. We will do it again if we have the chance to go back.
TYRONE WELCH 2008-04-11 until 2008-04-14	The Old Phuket Hotel, Karon Beach very beautiful hotel. had no issues checking in. stayed in the superior with spa outside on balcony. the spa was little dirty though, only downside on our entire stay. everything is nice and clean. would go back here anytime, and recommend to all.
yelvington 2008-04-06 until 2008-04-11	The Old Phuket Hotel, Karon Beach We found the Old Phuket comfortable, quiet, and very secure. You need ID to enter the grounds. Breakfast was good. Third floor rooms place you right next to the pool, which was lovely and not crowded. Wish the pool would stay open later. Hotel made our day boat trip reservations but we learned you can cut price in half by walking down the street to any of the agencies. NOTE: After reserving the room, call the hotel and have them arrange airport pickup. Cabs late at night will rip you off. Our ride cost 1300 baht and the hotel charges much less.	I ve used Sawadee a couple of times and would recommend them.

It s the cleanest and most professional hotel we experienced within the 2 weeks we stayed in Thailand. The staff is unquestionably also great and show a natural concern for your well-being at the hotel!!!	The best booking service available. Fast and dependable!!!
Linda Andersson 2008-03-28 until 2008-04-02	The Old Phuket Hotel, Karon Beach I do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. We read at their web page that they should offer new deluxe room which we paid 2700 bht/nigh for. The only thing that looked new in this room was the painting on the wall. Bedcover and sofa full of stains in two of their deluxe rooms. We had to change room the first night due to ants in our room. Please be aware of that there is construction work going on early in the morning until midnight for two new buildings. Its a BIG disappointment that they do not inform you about this before you arrive. So for persons looking for a quiet and a nice place to relax in I would recommend to look for another hotel.
