Ravin Vickneswaran 2008-11-25	Somkiet Buri Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay The resort is beautiful. It is surrounded by thick foliage and is very scenic. Our room had a good view. It can get tiring walking in an out from hotel to the shopping area as its a bit deep inside. Breakfast is average. On the whole is was a very pleasant stay.	Good. no hassle
Michael Patrick Rock 2008-11-22	Somkiet Buri Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay I had a wonderful stay at this complex. The hotel grounds and swimming pool are beautiful and the accommodation is first class as are the staff. Somkiet Buri is a leisurely five minute stroll to the beach with lots of shops and restaurants on the way. WARNING: Do take mosquito repellant. Rooms and swimming pool are in dense vegatation surrounded by streams and man made lakes so this can be a problem but hey this is a little bit of paradise in a busy resort. Top class and very secure.	Perfect! Booking is simple and strait forward with all promises fulfilled.

Would recommend that anyone staying here brings really good mosquito spray and repellents as hotel is based in jungle style setting, and there are a lot of mosquitos. We got bitten a lot! MURIEL HAMONIC 2008-10-30	Somkiet Buri Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay Very nice place, like in the jungle. Lots of frogs and other animals singing at night. Big rooms, clean and nice. Ok breakfast, but i would not recommend to eat other meals there... I got sick...	every thing went on very well.

The bathroom was good - my only gripe was that the water pressure was on the low side. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.	No problems!

Breakfast needs a little work, as does the attitudes of the ladies working u front. I will stay there agin next time. Its just so lovely!!	great!!!
Victor Khoo 2008-07-30 until 2008-08-02	Somkiet Buri Resort & Spa, Ao Nang, Phranang Bay As described by most other guests, it is like living in a small tropical resort. The setting is lovely with lots of different plants. We even have a squirrel hoping along the balcony timber railing and seen beautiful tropical birds. Aside from that, we found the room quite basic, AC extremely noisy, lighting too dim for the bathroom, toilet bowl stained, shower hand rail very low (fortunately, we are not tall), and one of the reception staff (slightly older than the other girls) very unfriendly and abrupt without any smile (which is unlike Thai custom and hospitality). Also, the restaurant staff at breakfast time have poor customer service. They stood there and don t even bother to serve coffee or tea unless you asked them. The other negative comment is the room safe. Well, you better get it right the first time or you will have to wait a long time before they send someone to your room to fix the lock. The instruction on the safe is poorly written and hard to understand. We travelled a lot and have never come across such an ancient looking safe!	Fantastic and reliable. Have used this service in the past and will use it again in next trip.
