Jeffery Alan Dieselberg 2009-06-24	Gems Cha-Am Hotel, Cha Am Beach, Ruamchit Rd. Ever heard of ghost town . This was ghost hotel . There was no one in the 18 floor hotel except our family. Their were dogs roaming freely throughout the building. We decided to stay anyway and had a nice mini-vacation but it certainly was not because of Gems. Perhaps many years ago Gems was truly a Gem , but not anymore. They told us they are in the process of renovating. We saw some evidence of that, but I m not sure that s going to help too much. I don t recommend this hotel. Jeff and Family	Shop4thai.com is a GREAT new find for me. They were very helpful and made everything easy from reservation to payment.

Hansemann 2008-11-16	Gems Cha-Am Hotel, Cha Am Beach, Ruamchit Rd. The good times for the Gems in Cha-Am is definetely over. I really did NOT feel comfortable in this hotel at all. The rooms need some renovation. The breakfast is out of any standard. Sorry Gems...never again!!!
Christopher Lorence 2008-08-15 until 2008-08-16	Gems Cha-Am Hotel, Cha Am Beach, Ruamchit Rd. Hotel was great for the price. The view was amazing, as the room was just ok. The staff was helpful. The hotel is a block from the beach which is great, the pool on the roof is beautiful for scenery but closes early as do many of the other services offered by the hotel (massage, restraunt, etc)	So easy, I couldn t ask for anything better, I recomend this site to everyone I meet.

Sutarat Chalothorn 2008-03-08 until 2008-03-09	Gems Cha-Am Hotel, Cha Am Beach, Ruamchit Rd. The whole hotel needs to be renovated. Room ammenities should be a lot more improved, should add kettle plus complimentary coffee/tea in room. Carpet is not clean at all, you can feel sticky while walking on it. Swimming pool is very tiny. More vairetiies at buffet breakfast would be great, should add congee, boiled rice, more kinds of bread not to force guests to eat only toast. Reception desk should not have pets around. In conclusion, you can obtain much better quality at the same price from other hotels. It s not worth money at this hotel at all. It s lucky that the hotel staff are polite and friendly.	Great!

My first impression when we arrived. wasn t good.The lady who checked us couln t have been less interested.She talked on the phone the whole time so we go no information about breakfast times or where the diningroom was situated.The resr of the staff where however very pleasant.The rooms were okay.Although the sheets were clean they were a bit worn.The swimmingpool was a big disappointment.In the pictures it looks huge but it is in fact very small.The breakfast wasn t great but acceptable.Wouldn t go back to this hotel or indeed Cha-am.	No problems at all.Everything went smoothly.
F. Jansen 2006-12-17 until 2006-12-19	Gems Cha-Am Hotel, Cha Am Beach, Ruamchit Rd. Very nice and clean hotel. Decent, spacious rooms and bathroom. Safety box in room. Breakfast okay. Location fine, 200 mtr to beach (over hotel grounds and cross public beach road). Restaurants around, little bit more expensive then elswhere in Thailand. Nightlife a few km away. Beach is fine, however after about 3.00 pm there will be shade. More north sunshine lasts longer. Have a nice holiday.	First time with Sawadee.com, but definitely will book again next time. Service okay and in most cases even cheaper than a direct booking at the hotel. No troubles in all hotels.
Chua Heng Ong 2006-03-09 until 2006-03-12	Gems Cha-Am Hotel, Cha Am Beach, Ruamchit Rd. Although a bit old but located at a very convenient location with just a few minutes you can find plenty of restaurants, convenient stores and street hawkers selling foods, garments products and souvenirs. Also a few minutes walk away to the beach. I did enjoy my stayed in Gems Hotel.	Very good, very easy to book hotels and efficient service. My booking was smooth without any problem at all. Will definitely use Sawadee.com service again for my next trip to Thailand.
