Welcome to The Taste - Phuket, Phuket Town ...

The Taste is a stylish, intimate bed and breakfast, right in the heart of historic Phuket town. Two Sino-Portuguese style shop houses have been tastefully transformed into elegant guest accommodation, design-wise unequaled in Phuket town, with decorations and room amenities outranking ordinary bed and breakfasts.

Spread over different locations inside the two shop houses are 12 rooms, with no room exactly the same as the other. With a small cocktail bar and regular live music entertainment in the lounge area, The Taste’s relaxed atmosphere easily evolves into a swinging party-like experience.

Each of The Taste’s 12 rooms are sprawled over the premises. Every room has its very own style. Rooms are categorized as follows:

1 Large Suite room with its very own private balcony. A DVD player is also provided in this room.

3 Verandah rooms. The Verandah rooms feature a DVD player not available in the standard rooms.
Two rooms located at the front of the building and one room located at the back (this room does not have a bathtub).

8 Standard rooms (4 rooms without daylight)

Located in Phuket town, all major beaches on the island are within easy reach from The Taste e.g. Patong Beach, Kata Beach, Karon Beach and Kamala Beach all between 15-20km., Surin Beach, Bangtao Beach and Nai Yang Beach between 24-30km. Phuket airport is at 30km. distance. The Taste is conveniently located for boat services using the Rassada Pier: only 5 km away.

The express boats to Phi Phi island (with connection to Lanta island) and Krabi mainland depart from the Rassada Pier. As do the diving vessels for the Phi Phi and Similan dive sites, making The Taste one of the few accommodations in Phuket where guests don’t have to get up at early hours to catch the boats to offshore destinations.
