Ewa 2010-01-11	Karon Whale Resort, Karon Beach The standard of the rooms does not measure up to the rates! We had booked a standard room, it was awful, dirty, small and very por standard. We upgraded to the villa, it was better but not worthy the rate. The staff were not as kind and serviceminded as I have experienced in many other hotels in Thailand! Cleaning was bad, big dustballs under the bed, leaking taps in the bathroom...a jacuzzi outside that would be a risk for your health to use. And the pool area was depressing. We never went in the pool, would also be a helathrisk! I will never stay at this hotel again!!! You can find better hotels at better prices in the near area, or pay the same rates but get a much better standard.

Det var slitet till tusen och väldigt slarvigt städat.Vi uppgraderade till en villa suite. Rummet i sig var fint men inte städat ordentligt på väldigt länge. Lankanen i sängen hade fläckar. Vi hittade massor med hårstrån överallt. Badkaret var inte städat. Badrumsgolvet skulle varit vitt men var ingrott med smuts. På framsidan av villa suiten fanns en såkallad bubbelpool, den var mycket motbjudande då den var smutsig och fylld med löv och en och annan groda. Poolen var inte speciellt inbjudande kändes smutsig, vi badade inte. Solstolarna var trasiga och nedsuttna. Vissa i personalen var trevliga. Hotellet kändes nedgånget och absolut inte värt att bo på. Rekommenderas INTE.	Fungerade bra.
Kozlova 2010-01-04	Karon Whale Resort, Karon Beach Маленький отельчик, тянет на свои 3 звезды. В номере есть все необходимое. Убираются каждый день. Если оставляешь чаевые, то уборка просто идеальная. Кондиционер гудит так, что создается впечатление, что рядом взлетает самолет, независимо от того включен он или выключен. Завтраки очень простенькие, но голодными вы не останетесь. До моря идти минут 5. Если рассматривать отель как место ночлега, то это хорошее место для вашего отдыха (дешево и сердито). Если хотите сервиса и излишеств, то нужно выбрать что-либо еще.
Stephen Fletcher 2009-12-29	Karon Whale Resort, Karon Beach OK, I will give you the truth, no bull. The hotel was very good and clean, ideally situated, about 3 minutes from the beach, about 30 seconds from the nearest bars and restaraunts but you could hear no noise at the hotel from the street located 50 metres away, it was situated just perfect in my opinion. The hotel staff were very freindly and helpful. The rooms were clean and air conditioned. We never had a problem. The breakfast was a very wide choice from fruit, through to rice, bacon, or omelettes and anything in between. Lots of ammenities very close by but all out of ear shot. My only gripe was the price of the hotels trips. An example was a trip to Phe Phe islands, they said 3300 bt but will give me a good discount, 2800 bt each for me and the wife. 100 metres away outside the hotel on the street corner, the same trip on the same boat, picked up from the hotel door and delivered back to the hotel door was advertised at 2500 baht each, then they said big discount on top, I asked how much for me and the wife, 2400 bt in total, thats only 1200bt each, a big saving, over £60 cheaper for the same trip. OK so the hotel has to make a profit but they were not charging me £60 more for the trip. You compare if you go there, it may be cheaper now but that was our price quoted through the Christmas period. Apart from this little gripe we have no regrets, it was a great place to stay, ideally situated, no traffic noise, very good breakfast and very pleasant staff. Jgill 2009-04-18	Karon Whale Resort, Karon Beach Nice clean rooms,pool area and size very good,in a central location, near to the beach.The mini bar in the rooms was really cheap.No complaints would go back.	No problems.
Rhondda Rual 2009-04-15	Karon Whale Resort, Karon Beach Hotel was ideal for children - we had direct access to the pool which was great. hotel was clean however, one of the hotel receptionists was very rude and chose what to understand and what not to understand. When we booked we booked three rooms, one of which was for two adults and two children aged 9 and 6. However, upon arrival there was no bed for the 6 year old and nothing I could say to the rude receptionist made any difference to her; hence the 6yo slept with his parents each night when she refused to make another roll away bed available. She kept blaming the booking agent. Also on enquiring about using internet she announced it was 100 baht for 2 hours yet the sign on the door stated 50 baht for 1 hour. When I stated I did not want it for two hours, she continued to chant 100 baht for two hours. Gave up and went across the road where it was 1 baht per minute with a minimum of 20 baht. Very rude young lady. We avoided her the best we could during the rest of our stay. breakfast was good but on one night service in the resturant was horrendus with one person not receiving a typical thai dish until all other 8 people had finished their meals. all in all not a bad stay. would I stay again - probably not.	Booking seemed to go smoothly until we arrived at Karon Whale where we were told that there was no bedding for the 6yo as he was staying free - receiptionsist blamed booking agent????
