Alison Stato 2009-04-14	Sunrise Resort, Haad Rin Beach The Sunrise Resort was perfectly placed for full moon party revellers. The rooms were fantastic, clean and some of the biggest I ve seen in Koh Phangan. The pool was nice but could have done with a clean more often but I m not all that precious so it didn t bother me too much. The food from the restaurant was good - nothing outstanding but good. We fell in love with a little Italian restaurant just across from Sunris Resort called Kimera - you absolutely MUST try the restaurant if you re in Haad Rin - it was some of the best food I had tasted ever! I was just gutted that after so many trips to Koh Phangan, I only stumbled across it this time! Now, back to Sunrise Resort... the staff were great there but a little jaded and I m not surprised either seeing as the people they have to deal with aren t always the friendliest nor easiest people to deal with. I m sure we would have had a much higher opinion of this hotel had we not been there at the same time as a group of 32 English guys for a stag do. It was infuriating to see how they all behaved and especially how they treated the staff - I could tell you stories that you simply wouldn t believe but I won t and instead will get on with this review which seems to be taking me forever! Basically, if you do decide to stay here and the staff seem rude then don t take it personally - they have had to put up with a lot of crap constantly from westerners and once they get to know you and after you ve treated them with respect, they are a real pleasure to be around. I m not sure whether I would stay at this hotel again - it s good if you don t want to slum it but it s rather pricey too (considering you can get much cheaper in Haad Rin). Our reasons for choosing this hotel was because we had Thailand Virgins with us and I didn t want to take them to somewhere like Paradise Bungalows for their first Koh Phangan experience. I would, however, stay at this hotel again if there was a little more atmosphere - it seemed that this is what it was lacking (even when the English guys were around). All in all though, we had a good experience at Sunrise but not with the disrespectful English guys that were staying there - I think everybody was HUGELY relieved when they left after all the damage they had caused and from all of the disruoptions too.	Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant - could not possibly fault them. So helfpul and effecient.
Janelle Neilson 2009-03-16	Sunrise Resort, Haad Rin Beach To be honest I am not one to complain, I was so grateful to be in Thailand, we got married on Koh Samui. Koh Samui and Koh Tao were amazing, Koh Phangan had a different vibe, we left and went to Koh Toa for the rest of our trip. We were actually not very happy with Sunrise Resort. The music played every night till 5am in the morning and we got no sleep. The rooms were not that nice very 80 s and dirty. The service down at the resturant was not pleasant. Out of all of the 5 places we traveled to the Sunrise was the most expensive and worst service.	Great booking service
Kate Stirling 2009-01-01	Sunrise Resort, Haad Rin Beach I found this hotel to be overpriced and over rated.the first night we had someone trying to kick our door in. we asked if we could have a refund they said no and were quite rude about it. we asked if we could change rooms they gave us a an older room when we had booked a superior room. the breakfast was average. on new years eve our room was broken into they were not helpful at all and blame us that we didn t locked the door when we did. there was a t.v in the room which only had 4 channels this consisted of a bible channel, a german channel and 2 asian pornographic movie channels. paying 3000 baht a night i expected better service.	great. fast and reliable

Dane Dobre 2008-09-16	Sunrise Resort, Haad Rin Beach perfect hotel if you wanna party for the full moon party, great rooms, really great staff, everyone is helpful and friendly, nice pool and bar, dont expect much sleep from 5pm till 5am, music is pretty loud as there is a nightclub next door, but thats the full moon party for ya, sunrise is right in the middle of all the action, would stay here again, but just for the full moon parties, if you want to relax all day, look elsewhere, if you want to meet other great people and party, this is the place	excellent as usual
Nirit Ness 2008-09-16	Sunrise Resort, Haad Rin Beach *DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!* rooms are dirty and poor, no TV no nothing. the staff treat you like you re nothing but money to them, they re greedy and they would lie to you about anything if it means more money for them. the worst hotel i ve ever been to.	the service is great, the sawadee staff tried to help us but the hotel-staff wouldnt let them. great people, very nice and honest.

Our favorite hotel of our trip, highly recommended!	Easy and prompt - I ve used this service to find other hotels since this booking
