J2B Resort, Ao Nang, Nopparattara Beach Lovely place to spend a few qiet days at the beach. I stayed in the beach front bungalow and could see abnd here the sea while in bed :-) Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only downside for me was that the boats crossing the river diretion Ao Nang only went till 6:00 pm... |

J2B Resort, Ao Nang, Nopparattara Beach It was very bad and we could not use the room. There were ants in the beds and beetles in the room. The room was dirty and the bathroom was old and broken. The ownwer did not give us back our money, but we did not sleep there. What to do? |

J2B Resort, Ao Nang, Nopparattara Beach J2B resort is in a wonderful location, beautiful quiet beach, good for swimming, walk, nature spotting. I stayed for 4 days with my 2 young children who had a wonderful time play on the beach and on swings hanging from trees. The resort itself was very quiet, except for boats early morning and late afternoon leaving and returning from their days work. The room was clean and functional, but no AC during the day made mid day sleeps a little hot. Also mosquitoes were very bad. The food at J2B was OK, but the menu was very limited. Only the owner spoke English, and when she wasn t around, it was v difficult to order food and get what we ordered. The restaurant staff had no idea what was on their menu. I ordered spaghetti for the kids one night (there really wasn t many options for kids food), and it was so spicy the boys cried as the food burnt their mouths. I couldn t believe they would service spicy bolognese to children!! Instead we often ate up the beach at Pan Beach Resort, which is where I d probably stay next time. To sum up, J2B is in a lovely location, and the rooms are fine, but it is extremely overpriced and the food was average. |
Great. We were able to make last minute changes to our booking very easily which was fantastic. |

J2B Resort, Ao Nang, Nopparattara Beach Very nice place but the resort is too expensive for what it is..Wrong publicity on the web:no decoration in bungalow, no electricity from 6 a-m to 6 p-m, cold water. Staff lacks of professionalism:forgetting pick up at airport; one day, no toasts or no butter for breakfast, an other day, no ice,bad housekeeping (dustbin not emptied, the same little soap for 6 days...) etc. What a pity! We recommend EDEN and CRISTAL BAY in Kho Samui where we were last year.Wonderfull for the same price. |
We think it is bad to have to pay the complete price of the stay. When all is paid, it is difficult to leave and go somewhere else. The last year we paid only the reservation. |

J2B Resort, Ao Nang, Nopparattara Beach The resort is isolated and quiet, you have a large stretch of beach to yourself. The staff are helpful and attentive. It is easy to loose track of time. To get to the resort you need to catch a long tailed boat - we enjoyed this as it meant we got away from the crowds. Cabins are simple and there is only power of an evening. All in all a very pleasant stay and very inexpensive. |
Easy, efficient and effective. |

J2B Resort, Ao Nang, Nopparattara Beach So calm, clean, and nice stay..we canceled our other bookings and stayed for two weeks! Nice staff, Ten and her brother, picked us up in the airport, helped us and took care of the customer in a nice personally way.Good breakfast, continental style. The beach where empty for us, and I guess the reason was, that you have to take a two minute ride with a boat to get there, it was worth that! We will for sure go back! With love Mitha and Mats Birkeland |

J2B Resort, Ao Nang, Nopparattara Beach J2B is located across a river north or Ao Nang, yet most taxi drivers or locals do not know where it is. The resort is only accessible by water taxi, but the owners make every effort to arrange these when needed and, at specific times in the day, the rides are free. One draw back is that the water taxi stops running at 6pm so you must make special arrangements and pay extra for later trips. The owners are very nice and have made many upgrades in this little rustic retreat. The best points are the quiet and solitude with clean deserted beaches, and spacious grounds with a view from every bungalow. The bungalows are basic and without electricity 12 hours per day and only cold showers, but we thought they were pleasant and clean. I would recomment this resort if you want peace and quiet and don t mind small inconveniences or a rustic setting. |
Great! Fast confirmation and no hidden costs. Thanks! |

J2B Resort, Ao Nang, Nopparattara Beach Overpriced and isolated. Bungalow right on the Nopparathara beach. You need a longtail every time you want to leave the isolated beach. Bungalow standard is very poor. Beach is muddy when low tide. Very, very friendly staff. Poor breakfast. Electricity 6pm to 6am. We will not go back. |

J2B Resort, Ao Nang, Nopparattara Beach We really enjoyed our 2 week stay. You need to know the beach is a little off from Ao Nang and you go by a 2 min boatride from the Nopparathara peer. But- you live ON the beach, no crowd or traffic, the staff is very nice and helpfull, good food! Very peacefull and relaxing! A quick ride to Ao Nang with all shopping, restaurants etc. Functional and clean bungalows. We ll come back! Kerstin E. Sweden |
No problems at all. |
