Biggest problem was repetitive power outages in the room, each time in the adjacent rooms the aircondionter started up. Owner blamed general outages, but lights all around were always on. Xiaodan Shao 2009-04-07	Utopia Suites, Koh Tao, Mae Haad It s near the dock and quite convenient. Room is also clean and tidy.But it s better to provide guests with free breakfast or cheaper breakfast.	Quite fast response.

Miller 2009-03-14	Utopia Suites, Koh Tao, Mae Haad We weren t impressed by our visit here. The room was over-priced, apparently double what it used to be but they hadn t renovated to justify the price increase. When we checked in the lady immediately tried to get us to upgrade our room and seemed eager to get more money from us. When we got to our room there was a dead cockroach on the floor and within the first 5 minutes the power went off for a while, without explanation, before suddenly coming back on. The place advertises it has wireless in all the rooms which is not true - it s only in the reception area. We found a better place down the road for half the price and decided to stay there the second night and told the lady on the first night that we were going to change. When we checked out the next day the lady was very impolite.

N.M 2009-01-31	Utopia Suites, Koh Tao, Mae Haad Very clean and spacious room. The only place we stayed where our room was cleaned daily. Friendly staff. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops nearby as well as scuba diving centres. Short cab ride away from Sai Ree.	Easy service to use and quick replies from hotels letting you know if there is availability.
Thomas M. Scaglione 2008-12-29	Utopia Suites, Koh Tao, Mae Haad The hotel is very close to the pier. Unless you have alot of luggage, dont let the taxi drivers con you into them driving you because you can just walk out of the building at the pier and turn right and it is a couple minute walk. The hotel itself is basic, but clean. The a/c worked and the water eventually got hot. The best part of the hotel is the ownership (European owned) and mngmt. I felt they were very honest and you will feel at home there. Honestly the best place to be on the island is Sairee beach, but I have no complaints about this hotel.
