Lars Banke 2010-01-30	Sea View Resort & Spa, Kai Bae Beach A wonderful hotel. We had a deluxroom that was great! A big veriety of food at breakfast. Nice staff that was very helpful if you needed anything. A nice private beach with crystal clear water!What more could you ask for??!!	We made our booking directly with the hotel and that worked well.
Alexey Fominykh 2010-01-28	Sea View Resort & Spa, Kai Bae Beach Wonderful view from the restaurant and rooms. But rooms are old, territory is small. Location is bad: far from Kai Bei village, no shops and restaurants near the hotel. No taxi at Koh Chang at all, just Tuk-Tuk (inconvenient and expensive) and rented motorbikes. No working facilities at the hotel. It was a reconstruction during our stay: everytime we heard a loud sound of a drilling machine, workers and tractors are everywhere. Everywhere there is a garbage from the reconstruction. I think, the reconstruction will take long time, some months.	Good on booking, but bad on resolving our problems at the hotel.
Michelle M Ihrig 2010-01-07	Sea View Resort & Spa, Kai Bae Beach The grounds of the hotel are left with full, natural tropical forests and many trees on a cliff allowing superior views and much shade and wonderful fauna. The staff is friendly and service is good. Many rooms are new, but the sound isolation is not so great. Our only real complaint about the resort is their expansion to accommodate mass tourism, which is unfortunate for such a wonderful location. The breakfast and dinner area are also now available up the steep hill accessible by shuttle or tram. It makes it impersonal, but otherwise the facilities and location are super. We would recommend the hotel if you are aware there are quite some distances from restaurant to the rooms.	Booking service was quick, efficient and reliable.
Johan Iderot 2009-12-29	Sea View Resort & Spa, Kai Bae Beach A very nice hotel with a private beach and excellent service-minded staff. Some rebuilding ongoing that divided the area in two parts, but not a big issue. It is far from everything, so if you like party in the evenings or a rich supply of restaurants, this isn t the place.

Gary Sewell 2009-11-18	Sea View Resort & Spa, Kai Bae Beach Had a wonderful time and found the hotel great, especially the friendly staff (eg manager Mr Dao). The hotel is very quiet and relaxing and nicely separated from the hustle and bustle. The beach is excellent and in our opinion, the best on the island. The hotel staff do a fantastic job keeping everything clean and which adds to the experience. Recommend taking the rooms in the new building rather than the older rooms in the main building.	Everything went well as usual except that when we arrived at the hotel, we were told that the room we had booked was not available. Thankfully the hotel staff helped us find a suitable alternative, but we are a bit disappointed that Sawasdee and the hotel messed up the room booking and therefore the lower rating.
Mr Benson Fong 2009-09-05	Sea View Resort & Spa, Kai Bae Beach Resort was nice and the dining room was spacious. The pool was good but far away from the room and the beach had a lot of rocks under the water. Was hard to walk on.	good, did have any problems with my reservation.

Sophie Viskich 2009-06-11	Sea View Resort & Spa, Kai Bae Beach We had a lovely stay at Seaview. it was exactly what we were looking for, a compromise between a hut on the beach and a nice hotel. We had a superior bungalow, which was very comfortable. the only complaint about the room was that there no flyscreens. We would like to have slept with the doors open as it gets hot without the aircon on, but we don t like to have it on overnight.The staff were nice though they didn t have great english we all got by. we even got invited to their staff party on the first night!The beach is the nicest we saw in the area, not many rocks and clean because the hotel look after it (some of the other resorts don t, as you ll see if you walk into town along the beach) We were there at the start of low season, so there were not that many people staying, but the main restaurant still did meals all day. The restaurant was ok, as a vegetarian I found it a bit limiting so we actually ate most of our meals next door at porn s bungalows. Very rustic, but great simple thai food, and very friendly people.Seaview s grounds and pool are also the nicest we saw, beautiful and well maintained.	I spent hours researching different places to stay in Thailand, and then on Koh Chang, and the most useful tools were the info provdid by sawadee and the traveller reviews. Thank you!
