Big Buddha beach, runs across the west coast of the northern
tip of the island. It is named after the giant golden Buddha statue
which dominates the landscape and is the most famous landmark in Thailand.
With no Hotels and only private residences it is one of the last remaining
unspoilt beaches on the island, yet it is still only 5 minutes drive
from the airport and the bustling town of Chaweng.
The Pureshores
development is situated just 40 metres from the beach. The land has
private beach access and is rich in coconut trees, palms and plant life.
The small village of Ban Plai Laem offers a wide range of local amenities,
whilst the neighboring towns of Ban Rak and Bophut provides an impressive
