Patrick H. 2009-10-27	Lamai Wanta Resort, Lamai Beach The resort is great. You are in 60 seconds at the beach/pool/restaurant. Also in 60 seconds in the central region (with or without night life). People are friendly, nice and help immediatly if there are problems. The receptionists, guards and room mates are very polite and fast. The restaurant personal could be a little bit more friendly (more smile) - they are maybe bored (many others wrote this also). It would be great if there is the possibility to cancel the american breakfast (always the same) and get a lower room price lets say for 100 baht (or a voucher). I think in high season there are not enough sunbeds. I stay in a deluxe room (between the shower and the toilete is a wall - very good - so you have no water mess after showering). Very clean and every day cleaning (towels, bed, wet room). Aircondition, Freezer, TV and DVD Player are functional. The room is basic but nothing else is needed (ok maybe a few more power outlets if you have many technical devices). I come back for sure... maybe next year? Only Buddha knows....	Good service from Web Sawadee. Transfer from airport to hotel (and later reverse) was great. My special needs was established.
Faith D Marks 2009-10-22	Lamai Wanta Resort, Lamai Beach Location is excellent, also the pool and its surroundings are great. The rooms are very basic and the breakfast is ok.
Olivier Rentsch 2009-10-19	Lamai Wanta Resort, Lamai Beach I had a Family (Garden) House that I have shared with my 2 Kids that are 10 & 12. We all really enjoyed our stay at Wanta. The house was in a wonderfull tropical garden, just a few steps from the pool and the Beach. Wanta staff were very friendly and helpfull !! WE RECOMMEND IT	Okay all went 100% as planned !!
Christopher Hondorf 2009-10-16	Lamai Wanta Resort, Lamai Beach The Lamai Wanta s location can t be beat. The pool is almost right on the beach! The rooms were so so. Not much to them and they lacked anything sort of decoration. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is also located near a main street with tons of night life(although a lot of seedy night life) and excellent street food. I would recommend this hotel, but don t get your hopes up about the rooms.	Excellent!
Jin Lei 2009-10-03	Lamai Wanta Resort, Lamai Beach Very comfortable hotel with a large pool, clean room and delicious breakfast. The hotel s location is convenient. It only takes few minutes on foot from hotel to the beach or to busy business street with lots of bar, vendors and supermarkets.	very convenient and quick response.

Klaus Bayerlein 2009-09-28	Lamai Wanta Resort, Lamai Beach Good hotel, staff is very polite. We enjoyed our holidays. The only negative are the firecracker which detonate on the beach all night long. That is not the fault of the hotel management, but it should be mentioned.	easy as usual
Barrie Francis Barton 2009-09-14	Lamai Wanta Resort, Lamai Beach I enjoyed my stay at the Lamai Wanta. It has a great location right on Lamai Beach and is just a couple of minutes walk to the centre of the Lamai shoping and restaurant strip. I was in a delux room which was well fitted out with the usual facilities and a room safe. It was located up stairs and had a pleasant balcony. There were no tea and coffee making facilities but when I enquired at the desk they provided me with and electric jug and two cups and saucers. The set breakfast was quite good. The restaurant is very pleasantly located next to the pool and beach. Meals are a little more expensive than some of the cheaper places in the town but the quality is better. There are around 80 sunlounges around the pool and always plenty available while I was there. I would certainly stay there again if I was coming to Samui.	Happy with service. No problems.
Bjørn Erik Poppe Thorsen 2009-08-30	Lamai Wanta Resort, Lamai Beach Great hotel. But you can see that it is not brand new anymore. The pool has some chipped tiles in it, and one kid actually cut his foot on one of them while we were there. The service at the front desk is impeccable, but the service in the restaurant is a bit off and on. Great when the manager is around, but less great when they are left to themselves.	Great, no hassle. But dislike having to pay before arrival.
