Sandra Marie Wight 2008-07-14 until 2008-07-16	Grande Ville Hotel, Mahachai Road We were introduced to this hotel last year before starting an Intrepid tour. As the hotel met all our requirements we happily returned there twice this year. The hotel is within easy tuk tuk, taxi or walking to all the sights we wished to see. The view from the 24 floor will worth a visit. Our room was adequate for three, especially the delux room. The hotel staff were very helpful.	Booking through Sawadee.com was cheaper than booking through any Australian travel agent. No problems.

Spacious clean room - we booke a junior suite which was on the 20th storey so nice & quiet. The rooftop terrace is great with super views across Bangkok. There a mini gym & jacuzzi & sun terrace on the top floor; and a GREAT massage parlour on the 4th floor. In summary clean, efficient & great value for money - I will definitely stay here again. Karen Tan 2006-05-11 until 2006-05-15	Grande Ville Hotel, Mahachai Road I book the Superior Room at Grande Ville & paid SGD62/night. The room size is the same as the Standard Room. The room is neat & clean. The room service is 24hrs. The appearance for Standard & Superior Rooms are exactly the same. As per the Hotel, Standard Room differs from the Superior Room only by the amenities availabe which I don t find them fantastic or different from other Hotels Standard Rooms which I have stayed. The amenities available are bath foam, shampoo, hair-dryer, towels which I can find at any other Hotels even if I book for Standard Rooms. Thus, I don t understand why I have to pay extra for things which are considered normal amenities in other Hotels Standard Rooms. The room is small & lights are also quite dim. It s really disappointing as I thought the Superior Room should be bigger & more luxurious than the Standard Rooms as I have paid a higher price. The breakfast is also poor with few variety. Given the amount I have paid, it s not worth the stay at Grande Ville. The traffic flow is quite conjested from 5pm to 7pm & taxi drivers does not want to ferry passengers to that area. Some will request you to pay extra instead of by meter.
