However, I wish someone had told me there was construction going on in the office and hotel area before I booked. Staff was very nice and made an effort to meet all my needs. I would go back but only if the construction is finished..

The brochure and website photographs are very misleading. the beach is dirty and not cleaned. the swimming pool isn t cleaned ( ever). The rooms are very basic and run down with rotten doors and balcony s. The staff are very nice and helpful and this this the only plus merit for this over priced Hotel. Better value is found elsewhere and indeed Koh samui in general is lacking charm,beauty and any typical Thai lifestyle. Koh Tao is the best place to visit by far.	Efficent and very aware but not that helpful when i voiced a concern about price rises.
Roxanne Beaubien 2009-01-04	Samui Laguna Resort, Lamai Beach Mixed reviews on this resort but I do use the word resort loosely! When we arrived we were shown to the bungalow which is what we booked with a view of a lagoon, which would have been fine if it were not for the construction crew set up 10 feet from our deck. At least they didn t start with the power saw until later in the morning! There were no towels, no hot water and various other things when we checked in that were fixed soon. Just don t expect much - I put in some laundry and it took more than a day and a half, but I did get a bonus of some men s underwear and towels which were not mine. Also, we book airport transfer for 10 am which magically changed to 9am which no one bothered to tell us about... There is one desk clerk who speaks and understands English and really the only one who was helpful -- he was great! We got to the point that we waited until he was on shift in the afternoon before asking about anything! I understand cost is higher during the peak season but it was still way over priced for any season.....The restaurant service was good, the food okay....and, as an added bonus, a desk clerk stopped our van on the way to the airport to collect payment for the motorbikes we had rented and PAID for five days earlier! During regular pricing season, this would meet expectations but a tip - get a receipt marked paid for everything that you pay the desk for!	Booking was easy, easy, easy....

Rolf Herrmann 2008-07-07 until 2008-07-19	Samui Laguna Resort, Lamai Beach Wir verbrachten 12 Tage im Resort und wir können es ohne Einschränkung empfehlen. Die gesamte Anlage und der Bungalow waren sehr sauber, Bettzeug und Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt. Das Frühstück war landestypisch, frisch und umfangreich. Standliegen und Sonnenschirme waren immer in ausreichender Zahl vorhanden. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Kleinere Probleme (fehlendes Handtuch, defekte Glühbirne) wurden im Handumdrehen gelöst. Der Strandabschnitt, an dem das Resort liegt, ist mit der beste in Lamai, keine Steine und kaum Algen im Wasser. Wir würden das Samui Laguna jederzeit wieder buchen.	Die Buchung über Internet funktionierte absolut reibungslos. Alle Transaktionen wurden umgehend per E-Mail bestätigt.
M. Kraaijeveld-van Litsenburg 2008-04-29 until 2008-05-04	Samui Laguna Resort, Lamai Beach I do not recommend this one! The facilities are okay-ish, but the staff is absolutely terrible! They hardly speak English, even at reception and are just unforthcoming. The restaurant was nice, simple but nice and staff there was much friendlier then inside . They stole from our rooms, jewelery and money, but the manager was actually laughing about it and the police was told by him that it was an insurance scam so not to help us. Really really bad, as we didn t even have insurance! There are no safes in the rooms so you either have to bring everything of value to the beach, bring it back and forth to the reception (is far)or you get robbed. We ended up with a report from the Tourist Police in Chaweng as the regular police sided with the manager after a lot of Thai converstaions and it took us two days of driving back and forth. For us, it just wasn t worth it and de manager was such a jerk..... perhaps he was even in on it???	booking was simple, fast and accurate. Great job!
