Paul Nunner 2009-09-21	Dara Samui Beach Resort & Spa Villa, Chaweng Beach Very nice hotel in traditional Thai-style. The rooms are clean, in a good condition and furnished tastefully. A little minus is that the also tastefully arranged hotel area is very small which also results in a small beach area and therefore noise from the neighbourhood sometimes disturb relaxing, unfortunately also from the hotel itself (loud music). Apart from that the beach area is also clean, sun umbrellas and sunloungers are available at any time and service is also friendly and courteous. The service in general is great and in a personal way. All staff members try to give their best although we get the feeling that there isn t a professional organization and knowledge behind - but we didn t miss anything. All in all we can highly recommend this hotel for adults and couples as it is one of the exalted ones at Chaweng Beach. It is also located between the brisky beach on the right and the romantic beach on the left of the hotel.
Rui Franco 2009-08-21	Dara Samui Beach Resort & Spa Villa, Chaweng Beach Overall a good family resort with very friendly staff going out of their way to please. The swimming pool is great with an interesting design, the deluxe rooms are comfortable and boast a huge king size bed and a spacious bathroom with a bath tube large enough to accommodate both you and the boss (wife) altogether. The street side restaurant is also very ineteresting with live music every night both western and thai and good seafood. The downsides are staircases if your room happens to be on the upper floors, Its a bit too close to the souther tip of Chaweng road making it a long walk if you wanna explore north. neverthless still in the middel of the action. Definitely a thumbs up. Recommended.

Wow it was fabntastic. staff were great extremely helpful	good service when I needed to change my reservation it was done so no problems ....expect the refund was delayed
Nicole & Julie - Australia 2009-06-23	Dara Samui Beach Resort & Spa Villa, Chaweng Beach We stayed in a deluxe suite here, initially the room we were in the internet wouldnt work, air con in the lounge room wouldnt kick in, and the toilet didnt flush, but that aside the next day when we let them know they moved us up a floor to a new room where everything was excellent, even had a see view. beds are pretty hard [so get lots of massages!], service and friendliness of the staff is amazing. breakfast was great as well. its a beautiful small hotel and will be coming back. special mention to the girls at the spa [i need another massage now after returning home] and to Vorn who works in the restaurant [he is so nice]. all of the staff that work there [including the maintenance and gardening guys] are just so friendly and nice. good work.	for first time user it was easy as, not a problem once we arrived at the hotel.
Susan Edge and David McKinlay 2009-04-10	Dara Samui Beach Resort & Spa Villa, Chaweng Beach The Hotel and rooms are clean and presentable, and staff are pleasant but the beds are terrible, Initially given a first floor room, and was bitten by bedbugs and mosquitoes-asked to change room to the top floor away from the greenery and mosquitoes, which was accommodated by helpful staff who were very apologetic and even left a mosquito coil burning in the room when we returned later in the day. Whilst we were no longer bitten, the mattress was quite bad if you need support for a bad back. Otherwise the hotel is very pleasant and food in the restaurant is acceptable with no complaints the breakfast goes onto 2pm which is great if you have had a late night, a nice touch!

Rachael Vince 2009-01-03	Dara Samui Beach Resort & Spa Villa, Chaweng Beach My boyfriend and I had a fantastic 5 nights at the Dara Samui Beach Resort & Spa. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite and were treated like royalty. Breakfast was also fantastic! Pool is beautiful and it is right on the beach in a perfect location for shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.	Fantastic sawadee.com service!
