The resort is very clean and has some beautiful scenery. I would recommend this to all travelers, especially South Africans!!!	Brilliant, no problems whatsoever

We were always met with a smile. It felt like being home. Basic but more than adequate rooms with air con and T.V. Coffee and tea making facilities.

Although a free pick-up from the airport was promised, after standing around for 40 minutes we realised it wasn t happening and made our own way (taxi fare was almost the same as the room rate). When we arrived and asked why we weren t picked up, the receptionist said she forgot and laughed it off, when we mentioned a compensation, she just ignored us. In addition, the bungalows are right on the plane landing path, so sometimes it feels that the roof of the bungalow is coming off! You can really find better in Koh Samui, at least with less rude staff (even for resort standards!)	OK
Petri Korpela and Sanni Roinevirta 2008-06-17 until 2008-06-19	Samui Mermaid Resort, Big Buddha Beach It was in close distance from the airport (which means you can hear the airplanes very well). Good place for your first night after arrival. Good service and beautiful view. We had a seaview room, but our view was just partial, but it was about 5 second walk away from the beach. (good beach). We had a bad luck in timing because part of the hotel was under construction. (loud noises starting from 7 am.) We also had a car picking up, but we gave the wrong time so our driver waited for us for over an hour and we didn t show up. Sorry about that. All in all the hotel was clean and nice. We recommend. :)	All went well. We had no problems with the booking.
MIss Lauren Hannah 2008-06-15 until 2008-06-27	Samui Mermaid Resort, Big Buddha Beach I have stayed in Samui Mermaid before, hence the reason for going back. The rooms are very reasonably priced and location is perfect for the north/north east of the island, not to mention the bars and eateries along Bang Rak Road. Staff are very friendly and helpful, restaurants serve good but cheap food and being on located on the beach, makes it feel like you have that bit of paradise on your door step. Well worth a visit.	I always use this service for booking my accommodation whilst in Thailand. Its convenient, easy to use and response is fast.

The price is reasonable for what you get. Nicely maintained gardens and pool. The noise from the planes didn t bother me. I would stay here again.	Fast and professional. I have used sawadee.com many times, you can trust it!
