Raphael Thallinger 2009-09-13	Sugar Hut, Jomtien, Thapphraya Rd. Disappointed! Great location with a beautiful resort in the Jungle... BUT very poor service. Lack of staffs who all seem bored. Low season means very low service. Room service below average, no drinking water in room and excessive prices for all services. They even refused to book me a Taxi back to Bangkok, trying to sell me their Limousine service at THB 3,300 per trip!!! What a scam... This beautiful resort does not deserve such a poor service level.	Very efficient as usual
James Gerhard 2009-03-22	Sugar Hut, Jomtien, Thapphraya Rd. We had a great visit to the Sugar Hut. I would definitely return. It is very traditional Thai and very well done. The area is spacious and the rooms are like staying in an old fashioned Thai house in the country. Our bed was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are a value added part and the layout of the rooms gives you plenty of area to enjoy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Always there when you needed something but not noticeable if you did not. The three pools are all splendid and servce for towels and food was great. The restaurant was good. Breakfast was buffet style and delicious. It is a great deal for families or couples. A much better area than Pattaya. At Sugar Hut you can go right to the main road and hop on a Song Tai for the 3 min ride to Jomtien beach. It is only 10 baht a person (about 30 us cents. Jomtien beach is much nicer and with more family style food and shopping than Pattaya. We will visit Sugar Hut again.	The booking service made the reservation very easy and quick. I would use this service again.
Leonie 2009-02-27	Sugar Hut, Jomtien, Thapphraya Rd. It was really a wonderfull hotel. The place was even more beautiful than we had hoped. The location was also perfect. Close to the city. The people were very friendly only there englisch was not always very good. We really had the feeling that we lived in a jungle and both off my 2 children of 2 and 5 had a great time overhere. If you go there with children, please know that the bedrooms are not next to eachother and you cannot hear the children if there is something wrong. Both bedrooms are separated. TO get from 1 to another bedroom you have to get out of your own bedroom and go outside and than you can go to the other one. But we had a really great time overhere.	The bookingservice was great. The respons was quick.

Nigel Tatham 2007-03-31 until 2007-04-03	Sugar Hut, Jomtien, Thapphraya Rd. Very good, did not like being asked to pay a deposit on arrival especially as i had prepaid for 3 nights accomodation. Liked the restaurant very much. Liked the space and quiet. Did not like Pattaya and will not go back, in fact had we stayed in most of the hotels we would have left as soon as possible but stayed an extra night because of the space and quiet	fine
Barbara Flook 2006-01-15 until 2006-01-20	Sugar Hut, Jomtien, Thapphraya Rd. Other people mentioned that the Sugar Hut was an oasis in Pattaya. Well, it really is, a beautiful jungly garden with little Thai houses to stay in. The bedroom might not suit everyone, the bed is on the floor, but for a few nights the whole experience is worth it. The reception staff are helpful but the place is run in a relaxed way. We had to start by asking for the air-con and the DVD player to be fixed and they were. The restaurant staff were surprisingly unfriendly, very strange in Thailand, but there are loads of other places to eat so we didn t need to bother about that. We had breakfast brought to the room which was lovely. During the week the place was completely empty, apparently it fills up at weekends with visitors from Bangkok. We had the swimming pool completely to ourselves everytime we swam.	Fine, no problems.
Susan Drummond 2006-01-02 until 2006-01-06	Sugar Hut, Jomtien, Thapphraya Rd. Beautiful settings, but the paths are a bit overgrown, the photographs on the web site are from a few years ago, however, this just adds to the jungle experiance. The swimming pools are lovely, food and drink good and inexpensive. Service at the pool bar is a bit slow but not a real problem. I did not like the fact that the sitting area is not connected to the bedroom and bathroom. You have to go outside to get there. I think this is a very good place for younger people but we are both the wrong side of 40, and found the bed on the floor a bit too much like hard work. When you return to your room in the evening the bed is covered with a huge mosquito net, (VERY NECESSARY). This entails quite a bit of manouvering to get into bed without letting in mosquitos, or other undesirables. We also thought that with the shutters closed in the bedroom, it was like being in a large coffin, and VERY dark. However, on the whole we quite enjoyed our stay but we were glad to move on to our next destination.	excellant, very professional
