Haad Salad or Salad Beach was called Pirate Beach by the local residents. The sheltered bay and nearby mountains were perfect for pirates hiding goods and people. In the Thai language, Haad means Beach. In the local Thai dialect, Salad means Pirate, so Haad Salad means Pirate Beach. The local Thai dialect shortens Haad Salad to Haadlad so our hotel is called "Haadlad Prestige Resort & Spa ."

Today
The pirates are gone but Haadlad is ready for your visit with its beautiful scenery. Within a stone's throw of the white sandy beaches you will find swaying coconut trees, live coral reefs, tropical fish and crystal clear water.

Prestige Superior (34 sqm.)
Prestige Superior rooms have a partial scenic sea view, room decorating with air-conditioning, hot water, twin bed, room features are satellite TV and a private safety box and mini-bar for refreshments.

Prestige Deluxe (40-60 sqm.)
Presting Deluxe rooms feature 2 single bed, or double bed, air conditioning, and hot water with full facilities. satellite TV, mini-bar, hair dryer. Some Deluxe rooms have more spacious areas than the Superior rooms.

Prestige Villa Superior (55-58 sqm.):
The Villas have a swimming pool & partial sea view allowing guests to relax in comfort.

This room type features a spacious bedroom with a comfortable bay - indow and is tastefully furnished with air-conditioning, double bed, hot water, separate shower, mini-bar, coffee/tea making facilities, DVD/CD player, a private safety box, sun beds.

All these Villas come with 4-6 people Jacuzzi size in a spacious outdoor area.

Prestige Villa Deluxe Beach Front (95 sqm.):
We offer a sea views along the pirate beach coast with picturesque views of mountain and swimming area.

Our features including satellite TV, air-conditioning, double bed, hot water, separate shower, in room safety box, mini-bar, coffee/tea making facilities, DVD/CD player and an enormous size outdoor Jacuzzi and sun beds.

Prestige Pool Villa Beach Front (146 sqm.):
Prestige Pool Villa Beach Front embraced by nature, has ample additional space for indoor and outdoor living. The Villa has an expansive private balcony with an extravagant outdoor Jacuzzi Hydro Spa Tub, sun beds and private swimming pool. It is the perfect setting for dining and relaxation.

Prestige Penthouse (90 sqm.):
Prestige Penthouse Ideal for families with children or a group of travelers with an overlooking the bay view, 2 units are beautifully decorated with the finest materials. The Penthouse unit has two connected bedrooms and connected with a cluster kitchen. These rooms are equipped with modern facilities, including satellite TV, Air- on, hot water, double beds, DVD/CD player, mini-bar and coffee/tea making facilities. The bathroom features shower facilities and a huge 6-8 capacity Jacuzzi, hairdryer and bathroom.

Khun Sunee Restaurant / Capacity 100 persons. A unique design, with lounge chairs for relaxing and a dining table area serving traditional Thai dishes and International food.Restaurant approximate hours are 6.30 am -10 pm. Breakfast hours: 7.00 am - 10.00am. Pool Bar After a workout in the fitness center or during sunbathing at the pool, refresh yourself with a cool drink with some snacks.

BBQ Terrace (by the beach) / 90 persons. A fabulous wooden terrance as the perfect location for cool drinks and fresh seafood grilled on the BBQ . Enjoy your fresh seafood BBQ and drinks while watching the sunset by the seaside or by candle light. BBQ Corner hours : 6:00pm to 10:00pm on Mon / Wed / Fri /Sat /Sun and Full Moon night. If you miss our evening BBQ time or weather not permitting, our chef will cook BBQ-seafood for you in the main restaurant kitchen.

Offering hands-on cooking class making tasty Thai food. Spend a morning or afternoon in unique seaview kitchen on the second floor on Khun Sunee Restaurant with our highly trained chefs to learn the secrets of making the best in Thai food from around the country. Each course features an overview on how to artfully combine the most important flavors used to make authentic Thai food, and easy-to-understand instruction on how to make Thai food. Students receive a recipe booklet, an illustrated Thai food glossary, so they can identify Thai ingredients in their home market, and a guide to Thai ingredients stores and websites so they can order the materials they need to cook delicious Thai food at home the easy way!

Sightseeing & Things to Do:

Full Moon Party
Ko Pha-Ngan is famous for the monthly Full Moon Party at Haad Rin beach. Haad Rin beach is the 24/7 party center of the Island with dance parties every night. There are also other parties outside of Haad Rin beach during the month, including Black Moon, Half Moon, etc. Resort Taxis are available to take guests to the parties.

Lovers of the water will find plenty of places to explore underwater live coral reefs and tropical fish. The reef at Haadlad is beautiful and was undisturbed for a long time due to the remoteness of the beach from the main town. The neighboring beach of Mae Haad is also a scenic snorkeling and scuba site. Guests can get there from Haadlad by longtail boat in five minutes or take a 30 minute walk. Into scuba diving, there are severals other notable diving sites such as Mae Haad, Sail Rock
and the Angthong National Marine Park. The Island hosts many affordable diving schools that teach diving. Many schools offer diving instruction in the major European languages.
Kayaking
Guests can kayak around the one kilometer Haadlad bay or visit neighboring beaches.
Fishing
Try some fishing with the experienced captains at the local fisherman's village - guests will never forget it! All the fishing gear and lunch are provided on board. And don't forget..... whatever you catch, our chef will cook it all for you at our BBQ corner at the Haadlad Prestige Resort & Spa.
Elephant Trekking
There are a few Elephant camps on Ko Pha Ngan and yes, you can experience the joy of riding your own Elephant in Ko Pha Ngan. Don't forget to bring a couple of bananas with you!
Getting Around Ko Pha Ngan Island
There are many beautiful natural attractions around the Island including neighboring Ko Mah (Horse Island), and the beautiful waterfalls at Than Sadet National Park which have been visited by four of Thailand's Kings.
