David Brayshaw 2009-02-03	Dusit Thani Hotel, Rama IV Road / Silom Road Excellent location in Silom and only literally a few steps from both a BTS and MRT station - by far the quickest, cleanest & coolest ways to get around the City. With a basic room rate of around B4500 it is about twice the price of typical mid range hotels nearby. However, it is still about a third the price of the Oriental, for examplle, with facilities to match in my view (except you trade a river view for a convenient city location). Pool area pleasant, rooms lack for nothing, service superb, breakfast impressive. If you can afford it, go for it, as it is well worth it.	Booked thru Sawadee many times and never yet been any problem.
Mr. Bykov Viacheslav 2007-05-28 until 2007-06-01	Dusit Thani Hotel, Rama IV Road / Silom Road Dusit Thani Hotel is really very good hotel. I think It has rational price and fine service. Only minor lack was wet bathroom floor after taking shower by leakage.	Booking service was very nice.
Mr. Eric Gliessman 2007-05-14 until 2007-05-15	Dusit Thani Hotel, Rama IV Road / Silom Road As several guide books have mentioned this once grand dame of Bangkok is definitly showing her age. Our room on the 5 floor was in need of a face lift, while clean, it almost looked like it could have been a Motel 6 and for the cost was not a good value at all, there are too many other great hotels in bangkok. The only high point was the breakfast buffet.	Once again Sawadee .com did a wonderful job, will use again.
Norman Wilson 2006-01-17 until 2006-01-21	Dusit Thani Hotel, Rama IV Road / Silom Road It s obvious that the Dusit Thani is no longer in the big leagues when it comes to Bangkok luxury establishments, but it remains a true delight to the traveller. I can honestly say that service was second to none, and we were waited on hand and foot the four days of our stay (this was especially evident at the breakfast buffet, because our coffee cups were never empty!). The location is perfect, and so is the price/quality ratio.	Fast and efficient, except for the airport pickup request part -- in no case were we ever contacted again reference this.

Car pick-up from airport was not apparent. put out tanoy call but no response. had to pay for own taxi.
Mark Whaley 2005-08-05 until 2005-08-09	Dusit Thani Hotel, Rama IV Road / Silom Road hotel is comfortable and well located for sky train and underground. the new separate check in area at the bottom of the east tower does NOT work well and should be ditched.	quick reliable and effecient, will use again.

Rachmat 2005-05-05 until 2005-05-07	Dusit Thani Hotel, Rama IV Road / Silom Road Very famous hotel, convenient location, but in terms of services and luxury of the room interior it is overpriced. For the same price other hotels like Pathumwan Princess offers better value. For example there isn t convenient internet connection inside the room; I stayed at a Deluxe room - the broadband service is probably only made available in the Suites. Also during my stay there was a Miss Universe (or was it Miss Pageant ?) event. The hotel was full of policemen and security guards. They even installed a metal detector that guests had to pass through on the way to the East Wing (where I stayed) and x-ray machine for checking your bags. I was told that the Hotel was quite popular with dignitaries; so these kind of events happen frequently. Hence if you want to feel safe and secure by being surrounded by men in dark uniform, then this is the perfect hotel. But if you d like peace and quiet, stay away from Dusit Thani Bangkok. Prestia 2004-09-14 until 2004-09-17	Dusit Thani Hotel, Rama IV Road / Silom Road The decor is more classical thai style than many hotels in Bangkok. We had some pests in our room and the entire staff took it so seriously that there was a meeting about it. They fully accommodated and repaired their repuation by their actions. It is still a great hotel steps away from the bts and subway.	Always pleasant and reliable.
Mr. John Sims 2004-02-11 until 2004-02-15	Dusit Thani Hotel, Rama IV Road / Silom Road A quality hotel in excellent location for discovering Bangkok. Very friendly staff. 2 small issues: 1. lack of in room internet and high cost of net connection charges made at your business centre. 2. Very high hotel car transportation charges compared with taxis. Car service to Airport 1300 baht compared with 200 baht for taxis. Double or even 3 times would be acceptable. These issues apart will certainly stay at the hotel in the future.	Very good booked online.
