Ljubisa Milenkovic 2009-10-28	Serene Resort, Kata Beach 16 nights of holiday. The hotel has good basic standard. Rums cleaned daily. This is in my opinion grate place for couples without kids as rooms are to small to accommodate more then 2 persons. If You have kids that can stay in separate rums then this can be a grate option for You. Rums are of same standard all over, but the hotel has given us their best location. Overlooking Kata skyline and sea. Rum numbers are 244 and 245. I can recommend all rums on that floor (24x). The corridors are of open type. This means that the stairs are outside with no walls around. This gives You grate view of the rain forest behind hotel, but also some guests in corridors (ants, very smal lizards). We ware there during the wet period and there ware some rutten egg smell coming from the AC during some nights and some days. It seems that it is rain related. The staff was kind and professional. The mini bar is so full that You do not have much place for Your things in that small refrigerator. Not having the possibility for Internet access in rooms is a big minus. The one that they sell for 1 bath per minute does not work all the time and You need to sit in the reception. The rums are much smaller IRL then on Internet pictures. The bigger pool can accommodate maximum of 20 persons and the same goes for the smaller pool. So I think that during season when all 120 rums are booked, it will be crowded in them. There is a well trafficked road beside hotel, but I have not have any trouble with that. More noise had coming from a renovation in front of the hotel and from the building of the hotel down the street. We have walked trough Kata and I couldn t find any new hotel for our next visit. So, this must mean that I have picket right hotel to stay in over the Intenet :-) Have a nice holidey!	Beside link to hotels I have not asked for any other help from them. Even if the add that they had tickets to Phuket on their web page. I have received offer to Bankok for almost double the price.
Hakon Hedegaard 2009-05-03	Serene Resort, Kata Beach Nice hotel with good pool area. Nice rooms with ac. Situated in a quiet part of Kata but short walk to the beach and everything. Nice people serving you.
Fleury 2009-02-10	Serene Resort, Kata Beach wonderful, have a nice time in this hotel , very clean, the personnal was very nice with us, i recommended this hotel i would to come back next year	good very good like every year
Peter James & Chiquita Mitchell 2009-01-04	Serene Resort, Kata Beach Absolutely the WORST hotel I ve had the displeasure of staying at. Room stunk of outside drains (rotten egg smelling) and the pool bar which is near to all the rooms pumps out trashy house music (like Barbie Girl) til all hours. Rooms are functional but if you open your door you have to put up with mozzies, stench and crap loud music til about 2am. Would never stay there again.	Good, but complicated by received about four separate confirmation emails. One (the exchange voucher) would suffice.
Dick Engqvist 2008-12-28	Serene Resort, Kata Beach Very good stay in Kata at Serene resort. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Good location only a short walk to Katabeach 300-400m. Fint grönskande hotell i södra Kata den lungnare delen.	Exellent! Fungerade otroligt bra och smidigt!
Erik Langnes 2008-12-19	Serene Resort, Kata Beach This resort is nothing like advertised. The first room we were given had mold all over the bathroom and the smell of mold was overpowering. They then attempted to give us a smaller room than we had paid for. The room we finally settled on did not have any visible mold but still had a moldy odor. I would never book at this hotel again. Very overpriced as well. Staff was not helpful or courteous.
Tom Schlippe 2008-10-08	Serene Resort, Kata Beach Very nice average hotel. The staff was great and very serviceminded. Nice room without any problems. In short.. At this price it is very nice. But it is not luxurious.	Nice and easy. Quick reply on e-mail. Good sevice when asking for offers on different hotels.
Andreas Pettersen 2008-03-06 until 2008-03-08	Serene Resort, Kata Beach Nice hotel. Close to Kata center and the beautiful beach. Nice and well kept room. Very nice breakfast and nice friendly staff. Kata is a very small and quiet place, maybe a little too quiet for us, so we were glad we only stayed there for two nights.	Great!
Malin Hagberg 2008-02-21 until 2008-02-25	Serene Resort, Kata Beach Clean and fresch rooms, though there were a lots of small ants in the room. Nice pool area, but few sunbeds. The location at the hotel was next to a rood wich were very trafic. A few minutes walk to the beach, but that was no problem. In shortly we can say that it was close to everything, beach, shopping, minimarket and restaurangs.	Very good and easy.
Derrick Quick 2007-06-25 until 2007-07-02	Serene Resort, Kata Beach Hotel was quite good. A little frayed around the adges but clean, tidy & well presented. Serene resort was builing a escalator outside my room while I was there but hey half of Thailands hotels undergo reno s during the off season so I can t complain. At least the work was completed between 8.30am - 4.00pm. If you re aftre a cheap hotel that s good value for money this is the place	booking service is excellent
