Tom Walsh 2008-04-19 until 2008-04-21	Koh Tao Royal Resort, Koh Tao, Mae Haad Excellent in everyway. Comfortable rooms, great food, location is very close to the ferry drop so you can walk to it. Very friendly staff and two very funny children up to some mischief.	No problems at all

You pay for the quiet atmosphere, away from the party bars, and a decent nights sleep. 5 mins walk from the main shops in Mae Had.	Good and effecient

Michael John Anthony Bradley 2008-02-25 until 2008-03-02	Koh Tao Royal Resort, Koh Tao, Mae Haad although fairly basic huts this place is great! do not go if expecting 5* facilities - this is basic thai island accomodation at it s best. the restaurant looks out onto the harbour and has small beach area and incredibly clear water great for snorkelling. The guys that run this place are super friendly and a real good laugh. the food they do is top notch and it is minutes walk into the main part of mae haad. the huts are spacious and in great gardens - big walks up hills though - and our balcony had a great view!! would recommend to everyone!!! cheers guys for a great stay	slightly slow but everything in great order when we arrived
Ekaterina Bukhtiyarova 2008-01-07 until 2008-01-15	Koh Tao Royal Resort, Koh Tao, Mae Haad Location is very good for adult people (I mean no parties near your window). Several small beautiful beaches are in a short walking distanse. Stuff is extremely friendly. Fan bungalow is simple but OK for this money. It sits in the garden, so you never feel hot. We were planning to stay 8 nights, but stayed 12.	Perfect.
Gilbert Davis 2008-01-03 until 2008-01-07	Koh Tao Royal Resort, Koh Tao, Mae Haad Good place Freindly poeple. This is the third year that we have stayed their for more than 7 nights each time. The rooms have been up graded and the owners now have a taxi service. They are nice poeple. Ko Tao is a great place to visit.	The booking service worked good. It can take a couple of days for them to get back to you with the time changes.
Brendan 2007-12-30 until 2008-01-06	Koh Tao Royal Resort, Koh Tao, Mae Haad Absolutely fantastic. We stayed for 7 nights, the bungalows were clean and very comfortable. We had a hillside room and enjoyed many a evening sitting in the hammock admiring the fantastic view. The only critisism would be the lighting in the room at night is a bit dim, but they do have 24 hr electricity. Naturally, they are not the most luxurious rooms on the island but the value is amazing. We stayed for 3 nights at a different resort (that cost 5 times the price) and were much more comfortable here. The real charm of this hotel is the staff. They were so friendly and would welcome our hungover faces with a smile and a great breakfast every morning. The location is great, not too busy but not too quiet. They even have their own taxi service to get you to the hard to reach beaches. Keep up the good work guys.
Mark 2007-07-22 until 2007-07-25	Koh Tao Royal Resort, Koh Tao, Mae Haad Not the best at all. There was no hot water and the fan was useless. The surroundings are nice and the beach out the front good for swimming. However if you want to be close to the main beach and restuarants do not stay here. Reccommend View Cliff resort.	excellent as always
Glenn 2007-07-19 until 2007-07-24	Koh Tao Royal Resort, Koh Tao, Mae Haad We had a terrible stay at this resort!!! We paid the 1900bht per night before we arrived which was a big mistake. The room was nothing like those advertised...there were holes in the floor and the front door, the drain in the shower did not work, the room stank of stale smoke and there where electrical wires hanging all around the place. When we spoke to the manager/owner about this he became very irate and irrational. After a long arguement he refused to refund our money. He then phoned Sawadee and argued with them. We ended up staying in another resort in a room that was 10 times better for 700bht a night less!	Sawadee were excellent, they helped us find somewhere else to stay at very short notice and refunded all of the money we paid to the Koh Tao Royal Resort. We spoke to a manager at the call centre who organised everything for us.
Christopher Osborne 2005-09-20 until 2005-09-26	Koh Tao Royal Resort, Koh Tao, Mae Haad The owner (can t remember his name) was a top guy, in terms of services you get what you pay for. Nice bungalow on the hill, basic, quiet location but only a few minutes walk to town.
