Lena Mohlin 2007-03-04 until 2007-03-09	Lotus Resort, Koh Tao, Sairee Beach Koh Tao. Very nice beach. The room simpel.It was a space between the room and the shower and you was afraid to get in animals in the shower. No clening of the romm on this days.No new towels. Noise place. Music the whole night.
Dan Sheldon 2006-12-14 until 2006-12-20	Lotus Resort, Koh Tao, Sairee Beach AWFUL place. let s start with the good points: 1) friendly staff 2) about 30 seconds from the beach and that s it. Seriously, i would advise avoiding this place like the plague. its right in the middle of a building site and is incredibly noisy. the garden does not exist. its a tip. The rooms stink and are the most basic huts that i have ever seen for this price. The bathrooms are not even attached to the huts - there is a huge 10cm gap between the bathroom and the hut so that its basically a huge mosquito and ant trap. Its so bad i cannot stress this enough. For this money there are lots of better places on the beach - try Sunset Buri which is the same price and a million times better. I cant believe lotus actually get away with charging this for the disgusting rooms on offer. I didnt even stay 1 night as the room smell was unbearable and the bathroom was teaming with insects. To be fair the management were GREAT and refunded all my deposit but who needs friendly management when the room is such a hovel!	Friendly, fast and efficient booking

On arrival there was much confusion as I had already paid online yet they wanted me to pay again. Next they had actually given away my room to sumone else and they were full, so they ended up transfering me to another hotel. Not very organised at all and not good value 4 money either, you can find better accom by just walking along sairee beach and enquiring! the beach bar is cool tho!	Easy, fast and efficiant

The where durty, no cleaning, noise late night 03:00 from the lotus beach bar, They say at sawadee that price include AMB, it do not, there is no restaurant any more. Bungalows really need a shape up, and the surrondings need badly to be cleand from garbadge. Don t go there	Booking is ok, however a mail complain to Sawadee about Lotus resort, was never answered
Aaron Payne 2004-11-28 until 2004-11-29	Lotus Resort, Koh Tao, Sairee Beach Don t come to Koh Tao if you are not a scuba diver. My non-diving friends were very bored. The standard A/C double is one of the shacks you see in the top left picture. There is a 3 inch gap of air between the added on bathroom and the shack itself and a 2 inch gap under the bathroom door. This combined with holes on the roof makes for the perfect bug magnet. Girly girls beware! Also, the A/C loses power at sunrise too. The beach in front of the restaurant is a great spot for drinks but this was hardly worth 800 Baht a night. The Sairie beach town sucks too. All white people except for employees. Be prepared to spend western prices if you want to eat and drink at the one happening spot (Choppers bar and grill).	No Problem
Dianne P Acosta 2004-05-10 until 2004-05-16	Lotus Resort, Koh Tao, Sairee Beach WE were dissappointed that the bungalows only had AC from 4 pm or 5 pm till 6 am in the morning. We had booked the resort because of AC as my husband has high blood pressure and really needs the AC. Fortunately we had only put down a deposit and we stayed two days and then found another place on the same beach will 24 hours electricty and TV. It is tough not to even be able to turn on the fan.
