Lawana Beach Resort, Pranburi, Paknampran Beach We were the only guests present so we had the staff s undivided attention. Significant problem with language (staff had extremely limited competency in English) e.g. trying to let staff know one person in our party was vegetarian was impossible. When we could make our wishes known, staff were eagar to accommodate us. Food choices were limited and generally OK. Beach wasn t particularly clean near river mouth but was pretty good further down. |
Booking worked well, will definitely use again. |

Lawana Beach Resort, Pranburi, Paknampran Beach We prepaid for 6 days at Lawana and were looking forward to our stay in a beach hut. We ended up so disappointed that we left two days early and paid for another hotel. We were the only people at the resort and it was like the place was closed. We got a very basic breakfast ( instant coffee and powder whitner ) no one spoke English and we couldn t get the staff to understand that our daughter is vegetarian. The restaurant was only open to serve us breakfast and dinner and the menu which the add claims offers awide varity of foods was only offering 5-6 dishes. We were in the middle of no where with no phone , internet or way to call a cab. When we did manage to get a drive from one of the resort staff into town ( Half our away ) we had trouble getting back to the resort as it is not well signed and really out of the way. We paid premium rates for the high season so I expect the restaurant open and the add said internet and phone were available which they were not. I would never stay at this place again and don t feel the people running the place really want to be bothered with guest. The path to the beach is over run with bushes and once you see the beach it s too poluted to enjoy. All I can say is try another place. |

Lawana Beach Resort, Pranburi, Paknampran Beach We stayed there for 3 nights. The bungalow, the garden and the swimmingpool are very nice. Our biggest problem was the language. Staff was friendly but communication was not possible. I think therefore we missed a lot.Our daughter made a phonecall from Holland but at least she hang up.Also there was no internet. We think you can make a lot of that resort but something has to change. The beach you must forget. |
Very good. Next time again. |

Lawana Beach Resort, Pranburi, Paknampran Beach Lovely, well appointed, comfortable room in a delightful complex of 20 or so bungalows in an interesting location where you can watch fishing boats come and go all day long (if you wish). The staff were very friendly and could not have been more helpful - especially Khun Grai who (at his own suggestion) drove us some distance to, and collected us from, 2 good restaurants and a nice beach. He asked for nothing in return, although was, of course, given a generous tip! |
Excellent, especially given the fact that we made the booking the day before we stayed. |

Lawana Beach Resort, Pranburi, Paknampran Beach Very nice and quiet place to stay. The village opposit the river is either reachable by taxi boat or car/motorcycle (10km). Apart from the swimming pool no other leisure facilities. Bungalows are clean but comfort is relatively basic. There were no other guests. |
Perfect and reliable. All reservations during our one months trip in Thailand went well. Thanks a lot. |
