The Salaya Pavilion Hotel and Training Center was established in late 1999 as part of Mahidol University International College with the main purpose of being a training center for the Travel Industry Management students. At the hotel, students undergoing their internship gain genuine hands-on experiences in the four main departments of the hotel which include Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage and Kitchen. Instilled with the genuine insights into the running and management of an operating hotel and experienced the real life situation,
our graduate trainees are consequently selected to join many world class service industry sectors; hotels and airlines.

Located on the outskirt of Bangkok and at the reach of Buddhamonthon Park, the hotel has access to many main streets in town and enjoys a peaceful traffic free environment. Apart from the prime location which sets you free from your worry on the increasing oil price and related expenses if you are looking for a fully equipped meeting venue outside Bangkok, the hotel offers reasonable price dining experience of both buffet and set lunch from Monday to Friday
at the Herb Garden Restaurant.

Salaya Pavilion Experiences
From 17 rooms in 1999, Salaya Pavilion Hotel was upgraded and expanded to 43 rooms in early 2008 to serve the highly increased demand for international standard training in hospitality industry. All 43 rooms and suites come with spacious balconies and views across Salaya and Buddhamonthon, Thailands largest Buddhist site.

The Herb Garden Restaurant

This restaurant serves a wide variety of mouthwatering international buffet as well as Western and Japanese set luncheons from Monday to Friday 11:00 - 14:00 hrs.

The contemporary Thai decoration is complimented by wooden furniture and framing posters of varied cookery and medicinal herbs.

The Herb Garden Restaurant has 90 seats with 1 VIP room accommodating up to 20 people.

The Little Mango Bar

The Little Mango Bar serves breakfast, a la carte, and refreshments in a relaxed and elegant surrounding, from 06:30 - 09:30 hrs. and 11:00 - 20:00 hrs. daily.

If you are looking for a quick lunch, our chefs prepare for you a selection of soups, salads, burgers and pastas.

The fountain foyer, located next door to MahaSwasdee, is beautifully decorated with wooden floor and fountain spots creating a relaxed and refreshing environment.
