Ian Lacey 2009-11-24	Hotel Petchkasem Grand, Surin Definately, one to avoid. Food very poor - the worst ever had in Thailand over more than 20 trips. Rooms,fittings linen old. Bathroom dirty and smelled attrocious and sickenning - although we complained on several occasions to get repaired - the most help given was a fresh air spray and can.Cockroaches. So disgusting that although we had prepaid for two more nights , we moved out and gave up. Do not go there at any cost.
Timmy Alajos Driessen 2009-11-23	Hotel Petchkasem Grand, Surin The hotel was absolutely the worst hotel we have visit in the last 25 years!!!!!!! Very, very dirty and old rooms, bad laundry and terrible rooms. The reception area is managed by an old lady that never moves and probally as old as the hotel is. The restaurant is cold and no atmophere and live music without any costumers. The staff is well mannered and friendly so that is the only good thing about this hotel. We had booked for 5 days but left after 1 night and this because we where to tired for looking somewhere else. So my advise never, NEVER book this hotel.	Booking service was ok everything was as it was planned, no problems and good service.
Aladair Duncan Stewart 2008-11-22	Hotel Petchkasem Grand, Surin At 700 Baht a night, the normal rate, this is an ok hotel. At 2600 Baht, the rate during the Elephant Round-up, it is a rip off, even if it does include a buffet dinner and transport to the show. But it s still full! The rooms are large aand comfortable, but tired and old-fashioned. The bathrooms are small, but do have a bath and hot water and are reasonably clean. The pool is not as clean as it should be, the pool terrace is pleasant except at night when a band plays too loudly for thought or comfort. The service is friendly but inefficient, and the breakfast food is terrible. The hotel is however very conveniently situated for station, bus station, and town centre. The Elephant Round-up makes it worth being ripped off, though, if thats all you can get!	Very efficient, no problems.

John Mckechnie 2008-03-22 until 2008-03-31	Hotel Petchkasem Grand, Surin I STAYED FROM 22ndMARCH TO 31stMARCH.I FOUND THE SERVICE WAS FIRST RATE .THE STAFF WERE VERY PLEASANT AND COURTIOUS.THE ROOMS WERE CLEAND AND MAID SERVICE DID A GOOD JOB.THE COST WAS AVERAGE FOR THE AREA .I AM PLANNING TO COME STAY THERE AGAIN ON MY NEXT VISIT IN OCTOBER	I HAD A PROBLEM SENDING THE SECOND PAYMENT FOR MY ROOM
Robert Litman 2007-11-16 until 2007-11-19	Hotel Petchkasem Grand, Surin Hotel was fine - staff friendly and helpful. Buffet dinner was only disapointment - but was free.	Worked like a charm. No complaints.
