Tonsai Bay Resort, Ao Nang, Tonsai Bay decent basic resort.not too luxurious for the price.no minibar or phone for room service.best and interesting part is getting to the resort.early mornings u can go directly by boat.afternoons u need to take a boat from ao nang to railay beach, then depending on the tide either walk through the rocky seashore, which is not at all recommended,as u will surely cut ur self, very sharp rocks.2nd and fun filled option climb the steep mountain, not too risky but then too watch ur step.and use the mountain only if u have light luggage.overall location is awesome.but resort is basic. |
excellent. |

Tonsai Bay Resort, Ao Nang, Tonsai Bay My wife & I stayed at Tonsai Bay Resort for 3 nights. We really enjoyed it there - no problems. Good clean middle range accomodation. Good service and great little location. |
Booking service all worked seemlessly |

Tonsai Bay Resort, Ao Nang, Tonsai Bay This resort is amazing! Even if you don t want to rock climb there is plenty for you to do.The beach was the only down side to this resort although it didn t spoil our time spent here. There is alot of coral on the beach so make sure you wear footwear while on the beach (crocs are very handy). The food at the restaurant was always very tasty and the staff amazing. We stay in a superior bungalow and i have no fault with them at all. The rooms were cleaned daily and we always had clean towels.A boat to Ao Nang is only 80 baht one way if you want a little more life, we went over 1 night during our stay although it was too busy as we were looking for a quite holiday. Kayaks are a good way to get around and very reasonable for half day. I would absolutely stay at this resort again and recommend it. |
fantastic |

Tonsai Bay Resort, Ao Nang, Tonsai Bay This hotel is stunning, the bungalows are clean and comfortable. We had a superior bungalow and i would recommend this as the standard rooms are towards the front of the resort and i can imagine them being quiet noisy at night. There are monkeys around the resort and this adds to the paradise and really makes you feel away from it all. The staff were always very helpful especially at the restaurant. I would say if staying at this resort take a rucksack as a suitcase it quiet awkward. All in all a fab resort and i would definately stay here again. |
2nd time using this company and just a good as the first time. Will be using again very soon |

Tonsai Bay Resort, Ao Nang, Tonsai Bay Tonsai Bay was amazing!!! Surrounded by lush tropical forest and mountains for climbing. Great people and a chill vibe. Can also walk to Railey Beach when the tide is low. There you will find white sand beaches and crystal clear water. The bungalows were average but the total experience was well worth it!!! |

Tonsai Bay Resort, Ao Nang, Tonsai Bay Be warned about this place. Peak season price is nowhere near worth it. Photos look ok but the room was grubby, it never got cleaned. There is also barely any difference between the superior and delux rooms, certainly not 500 bart difference. This room is worh nowhere near 2950 bart/night!!! |
No problems with bokking servive, very efficient. |

Tonsai Bay Resort, Ao Nang, Tonsai Bay Quite nice place at Tonsai Beach. Nice bungalow and friendly staff. The bed was a bit too hard for my taste.. A bit more relaxed feeling here than on Railey with lots of climbers and backpackers. Believe Tonsai Bay resort is a bit more posh than the other places at Tonsai beach so you might find cheaper accomodation elsewhere. OK to be on the beach and swim below the cliffs although a bit nicer if you tak a longtail to phra nang beach. Lots of OK restaurants up in the jungle. |
Excellent bookingservice with quick replies |

Tonsai Bay Resort, Ao Nang, Tonsai Bay Clean rooms with airco and warm water. Nice exotic environment. Things to be aware of: the only way to reach the resort is by boat from Ao Nang (but you were looking for a quiet, isolated place, weren t you?) electricity is not available from 9AM to 5PM. (every day) Definetely worth the price. |

Tonsai Bay Resort, Ao Nang, Tonsai Bay Sadly we were disappointed with this resort. The rooms did not get cleaned very well and the bathroom was not cleaned at all while we were there. Small things which make your stay more comfortable were also absent such as a bedside lamp for reading although I requested one several times and a mirror in the bathroom. We originally booked for just 3 nights but ended up having to stay longer because nowhere else in the vicinity had any vacancies. The restaurant where breakfast was served was also dirty with hundreds of flies all over the place. The breakfast buffet was never covered over and the flies were always crawling over everything. Most of our family ended up with stomach upsets which has never happened before to us in Thailand, but then we have never shared our breakfast with flies before! My advice to anyone looking for a resort in this area is to go elsewhere. The Tonsai Bay resort is too expensive for what you get and is probably the worst mid-range resort we have ever stayed at in Thailand. |
Booking service was great. We altered our dates at one point and that was all changed with no problems. |

Tonsai Bay Resort, Ao Nang, Tonsai Bay We stayed in one of the superior cottages these are well back from the noisey beachfront bars. The walk to the rooms meant walking along a short rocky path past a few dirty shacks, of a night time there is no lighting so take a torch. There was not a traditional Thai feel to the rooms (whitewash walls, a little clinical). The rooms were made up each day but the bathroom smelt quite mouldy, air con worked well tho. I would not bother with the restaurant, there are a lot of ants on the tables and the breakfast buffet is open to flies (had breakfast the following day at Railay). We will come back to this part of Thailand as the scenery and cliffs are magnificent but will stay in Railay West. |
Super. Never a problem. |
