Helmut Thering 2009-11-26	Southern Lanta Resort, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach Great location direct at the beach. The bungalow was ok. The bathroom was clean but could do with some renovation. The Staff was very helpful. Altogether we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the resort
Britt-Mari Andersson 2009-10-24	Southern Lanta Resort, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach Hotellet är ett familje hotell med ganska god service och bungalows som ligger nära stranden. Rummen är ganska slitna men helt ok. Läget är lugnt och personalen är hjälpsamma och trevliga.	ok.
JOSSE 2009-05-02	Southern Lanta Resort, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach Very good resort. The staff is reactive, correct and kindly. Bungalows well cleaned everydays. Just a remark about the babies chairs:dirty. Sometimes lack of food (choice very limited) perhaps due to the lower season. I will recommand this resort for families.
Niclas Engman 2009-03-29	Southern Lanta Resort, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach It was the second time I stayed on this hotel and it wont be the last. A very good accomodation for the money. Perfect location on the beach and close in to Saladan village. Nice bungalows and very freindly staff.	Good as always.
Anna Cederwall 2009-02-10	Southern Lanta Resort, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach Hotellet är bra lokaliserat på Koh Lanta. Vi gillade maten på restaurangen och frukosten var väldigt bra. Tyvärr är poolområdet för litet med tanke på antal barn som befinner sig där. Stranden är underbar så för vår del så var det ok att vara där istället.	Very good
Emma Gregorsson 2009-01-26	Southern Lanta Resort, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach We stayed at Southern Lanta Resort for three nights. We lived in a Superior beach View Bungalow. We were very satisfied with the resort, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The service was great. The bungalow was nice and clean, we had some problem with the water volume in the shower but it was not a big problem. The resort was not like the big resort we stayed at in Phuket but it was OK to stay just for a few nights. The food at the beach restaurant was very tasteful ans so was the service.
Rickard 2009-01-20	Southern Lanta Resort, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach Nice resort with nice bungalows very close to beach. The bungalows are a litle bit spartan and the water presure in the shower is really poor. The bungalows in front of the beach are highly recomended, where you can watch the sun going down every night!	Easy to book and no problems on check in. Highly recomended.
Vandenbroucke 2009-01-12	Southern Lanta Resort, Koh Lanta Yai, Klong Dao Beach We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. The advertisement said sea view, but the front cottages actually had the sea view.The pool was beautiful but was taken over by the children so no chance of a swim here.The cottage was very spacious - beware of the mosquitoes!The staff at reception could have been friendlier. Breakfast was the same every day - no variety here.We ate at other restaurants as the prices for drinks at this one were too expensive.I would definately stay again but only out of season.

You came all the way to Lanta, why stay in a Swedish factory? 100% Swedish people, perhaps because the hotel is so bad, the visitors are so grumpy? Very crowded. They have condo buildings in the back. The most unfriendly staff we have experienced in Thailand. The rooms are dirty and tiny and we had a pool side bungalow! We had a mosqito nest right by our entrance with 1000 of them flying around. When we notified the front desk, they just shrugged their showlders so we left that place as soon as we could get out.	Excellent, no problem.

We can recommend this to other familys, but note that resort seems to be a place for familys with small children. The service at the beach bar could have been better. Visit Easy Bar for great and cheap food.
