Kenneth Ball 2009-12-31	Remark Cottage Resort & Restaurant, White Sand Beach We were initially very disappointed with the hotel because the website and the address give the impression of it being on a white sandy beach but this is not the case so beware of the very misleading photos. The beach is all rocks but there is a man made sandy area built behind a rock wall. Whoever took the website photos took them at high tide and crouched down on the hotel s 10 metre sandy area to give the impression of a sandy beach leading down to the surf - naughty naughty! The nearest sandy beach is a songtaew ride of at least 2km in either direction. Take sandals that you can wear in the sea or you will have a very painful walk over the rocks to get into the sea! Also, the sea-view rooms, for which we paid more, do not have a sea view. The rooms are small with just a tiny area to hang a few clothes, no drawer space at all so we lived out of our suitcases for a week. Those are the bad bits. The good bits are that it is quiet, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the garden area leading down to the rocky beach is photogenic and the food is excellent. If you do stay then I recommend devoting one night to enjoying a quiet dinner there. This is not a family hotel, the kids want sand and surf and things to do.	Very good and efficient. Communication was quick and clear.

I tried to search for a hotel which have a pool, a nice room and nearby the beach, White Sand Beach. Everywhere I called to was full, finally I found Remark Cottage, the room looked nice and the atmosphere of the resort is wonderful in my opinion...I decided to book this one. When I arrived there, it is better than I think. It is so cute and natuarally.. The staff took care us very well..If you want a privacy and deeply relexing. I think this resort could offer these things for you... I will be back again..Thanks..	Thank for your support and a nice rate.
